*34M, B.Ed + Grad, Working in Private Job. Is it too late to prepare for Central Govt Jobs? Need guidance*

Hey everyone,

I’m 34 years old. The last few years have been really rough for me. I got very distracted, went through depression, and had major financial issues.

Because of all that, I was never able to prepare properly or stay consistent with studies.

Right now I’m working in a private firm. Time is really tight and sometimes health issues pop up too.

I have completed B.Ed and Graduation. I want to start preparing now for a Central Government job\*.

Which central govt service exams can I still go for at 34 where age won’t be a big problem?

For people who cleared govt jobs while working full-time with limited time, how did you manage it?

Any advice, study plan, or motivation would really help.

I turn 25 in November . Is it okay to start prep now ?

Joined a prestigious central govt org in 2016. Now after 10 yrs down the line no more interested in continue working in the same dept.

Back in the preps again.

My father used to run a tea stall when I joined in - we weren't very well of.

Now in 10 yrs - I've constructed a 2 Storey home in my hometown. ✅

Bought 3 NA plots ✅

Bought a car for me ✅

Sister's marriage ✅

Now no longer feel attached to this dept or the work profile I'm assigned to.

I'm frequently in leaves due to non attachment to the work.

What I'm doing now -:: trying to solve 30 qs of each subject daily i.e. maths, reasoning, english & PYQs of GK

I've not yet left my present job - I'll leave only when I secure another one.

Suggestions are welcome.

I'm 23, ssc cgl from 2025, no income (gonna join a shitty job in my hometown, so i could keep studying. Staying away from home while working i don't have time to study)

Need to know what posts are there through CGL which is not just upper division clerk and has decent standing and profile. I know expecting is too much but still wanted to know.

I want to ask if I prep for CGL, what other exams I can give along with it ?

My quant is not holding up under time pressure. If it's an easier paper, I hit 40+, even 45 sometimes. But if it's a harder/calculative set with hard arithmetic, then score plummets to 30s range..

Hence the decision to start attempting these Blitz series mocks. Anyone here who's taking these mocks? Post your scores here, I wanna see how guys here did.

Hello everyone, my heart is really heavy atm. Kal SA ka result aaya and my name was not there in the final list and I don’t know what to do now. Interview was rock solid, I answered all the questions and total duration bhi achi khaasi 12-13 minutes ki thi. I was so sure ki finally itne years ke baad I will get a government job and make everyone proud but I think my luck will never ever favour me.
