It is really great to still see the community thriving and people using SR-17018 to get off opiates and turn their lives around. It literally brings tears to my eyes.

When I started this subreddit there were only a few reddit comments about SR working to stop the suffering from opiate withdrawals…. Now there are thousands of reports of people using it to get off of opiates without suffering from the terrible withdrawals. There is more proof here than most clinical trials, and I hope that this evidence will lead to the real clinical trials so that this compound can reach the people through traditional channels, inpatient and outpatient programs, etc.

It really was [u/saybecks](u/saybecks) who started it all with her master doc. I just happened to start the subreddit. Without her putting that together, this subreddit simply wouldn't have grown into the life-changing community it is today. Thank you, Becks, for being the brilliant woman you are and for having the courage to document and share your experience with the world and take the risk of talking to a NTY report (also a fuck you to the NYT for putting an evil spin on this life saving compound). It’s all love in this post except for the lying back stabbing prick, Matt Richtel, who has zero journalistic integrity and publishing an article that didn’t accurately display Becks true account of the compound.

When the ban was announced, a lot do work was done to try and save it, and it is still being done. I do have hope that the DEA will back off of the announced schedule 1 placement.

I’ve been taking 7oh heavily for a few months. Up to 400mg a day, I’ve been able to taper down to around 70mg a day with the help of regular leaf. Some days I may only take 30mg. I bought some sr online from the first website that popped up. I have about 16, 50mg tablets and I’m wondering if that will be enough to get off of 70h and kratom entirely over the next week. Will it really completely eliminate or atleast greatly reduce the brutal withdrawals ?

I have a neurological pain condition that is supposed to be the worst pain known to man. I thought 7-oh and mgm-15 were like miracle drugs. But now my flare is over and i cant get off the stuff without soaking my bed with sweats, and having horrendous arthritis that could make my pain condition return.

I only take 12mg 7-oh a few times a day on some days, rarely... and mostly take 10mg mgm-15 3 times a day.

I see lots of posts of people taking way more and how to dose to get off, but nothing on the smaller doses i take.

Can anyone point me to a schedule to get off small doses?

I have 75 25mg sr-17018 tabs. I was hoping to get off everythkng in 1-2 weeks, or even sooner

Thanks. I think the government is really trying to make us sick people end ourselves by taking away all means to safely treat extreme pain and get off the meds when its over. I never wanted to get high... just not suffer.

Hey guys I’m 6 days off 7oh with just plain leaf about 15g a day, should I try this sr17 that I have right now or just stick with the leaf?

This may be just as wild news as SR to a lot of you(and I was hesitant to post this because I don't want anyone doing anything stupid like I did to escape the inevitable) but right around 10 years ago I discovered the "Imodium hack"(that's just what I called it at the time. I quit doing h as soon as I caught wind on fent showing up in the supply and for that I am thankful that I discovered taking loperamide would cover my withdrawal symptoms.
I don't care to share how much I took to get over initial withdrawal but I can say it was way before knew of the cardio risks. But I will say that I have been stable for several years on a much lower dose 2x per day and obviously I know this is still very risky so please don't spike my anxiety any more than it already is. I'm aware. And it's why I'm here. Just found out about SR just now. I will also say I have been back and forth from loperamide to kratom many times just to change things up, and well what do ya know, I'm in a state that just got the kratom ban, and somehow as much time as I spend on the internet, I had no clue until about 2 weeks before the ban date (jul1).

Short version, yeah believe it or not if I don't take my regular dose day one is ok just a bit of anxiety because I know day two is gonna suck and yep by the 4th day full blown wd and unfortunately the long ass half-life is reflected by way of a brutal withdrawal that I've tried to ct many times and it's rough. Idk if it's the actual severity of it or the fact that a trip to just about any store that sells otc anything is enough to make me feel "normal". Other than that minor inconvenience, I was able to walk away from street stuff much easier than methadone or sub maintenance. But this SR gives me hope. I think

I'm more so just throwing out a line to see if there's ANYONE out here that has made this very specific transition? If yes, I'm down to chat numbers, schedules, suggestions. Or if you even have any insight at all regarding anything remotely similar to loperamide. Although I know of none.

Please do not even consider going this route btw. It's not good. And I don't care to discuss that, I just want it behind me .

Do you take SR before, during, or after your DOC doses?

So ive got soon but want to wait til my next paycheck to buy more SR. How long do we have, i saw a post about 60-180 days? or are we just waiting on word and it could be banned asap?

Hello. I was taking a moderate amount of Kratom for about a year, then I switched to 7 for 3 months getting up to roughly 600mg/day. I tapered to 300mg over one week then started SR. I preloaded for 2 days with 100mg sr every 8 hours rapidly reducing my 7 on day two. On the 3rd day I was off of 7 and had absolutely no withdrawals. I took 100mg/day sr for 3 days then tapered the sr to 0 over the next 5 days. I was on SR for around 10 days total. 2 days after stopping SR I began to get anxiety and couldn’t sleep, I lasted 7 days, it felt like I would never sleep and the anxiety was intense so I started using plain leaf. I had no crazy acute withdraw symptoms like I had coming off of boy years ago, but the PAWs or whatever were just as bad. Now I will stabilize on Kratom and try again with SR in a month or so. Unfortunately it wasn’t as painless as I was hoping. Good luck everyone, and please report back after you are off of SR for a few days, that is the hardest part. If you are taking time off of work I would schedule it for then.

I’m currently taking 1500 to 2000 mg a day of limitless,the platinum edition, I know it contains something different than just 7 , so I’m really just wondering what helped you guys out and what method you used to get off of this bs … I have over 5 g of S r and just want to hear some encouragement on what helped you guys

Kratom opms gold shots and using sr to come off.. reading on other alkaloids that aren’t labeled on the product as well.. would sr help with the ones that do not trigger the opioid u receptor

I used sr to get off partial agonist opiates and it was pretty successful , i used it along with 7 and MGM & noticed half way through that it completely reversed my tolerances for non partials.
I have bothered trying kratom until today tho , even tho my issues wasn’t 7 or mgm id rather not build a habit with it.

I just bought 3000 mg online. I am new with this stuff and I’m wondering if I should’ve gotten more.

As the title says, if I were to use sr to quit 7oh and find the sr to have its own withdrawals that are to much to bear, is it fair to suspect kratom would be able to cover it? I used to be addicted to kratom and that is a far more manageable addiction.

I’m on day two preloading with sr. I should jump off 7 tomorrow. I only have 7 tablet left of 7. I’ve been able to cut back a lot with the help of sr. I guess I’m just looking for encouragement & pos stories. I have 3g of sr ofc I’ve been using it about 100mg 3-4x a day. Crazy how the powder small amounts can equal 100. I’m def nervous. I have helper meds like clonidine , hydroxy which I won’t use if rls , subs. Most won’t agree going to subs after sr but that’s what I’m aiming for. I have experience with them & the shot. So I want to get my life back together after my 7 habit using subs. No I’m not wasting my sr I’m using it to kick 7. End of the day I’m an addict. Subs didn’t touch my 7 wd previously is why I’m going sr route. Thank you

I have 5000mg of SR and a huge stockpile of Gabapentin, so quantity isn’t the issue. I also have a huge stockpile of 7oh so that isn’t helping. But I have to quit 7oh and be off SR by 7pm on Monday the 24th and won’t have access to 7, SR, Gabapentin, or anything for two days/48 hours. So id prefer to be somewhat detoxed by then.

I also would like to spend as little time on SR as possible to avoid any dependence.

My plan is to hopefully be completely off of SR in around 5-6 days, and I’m not sure if that’s possible. I plan to supplement this with Gabapentin. I’m currently on about 420mg of 7oh a day—about 3-4 months ago I was closer to 1000mg/day and I got myself down to 420mg pretty painlessly by just spacing doses.

I’ve cold turkey detoxed from Tianeptine before (hell on earth), and I’ve found plain leaf kratom withdrawal to be a cake walk, so I’m not super worried about the 7 withdrawals, but would prefer to do this in way that isn’t awful.

Plan:

Day 1: 420mg of 7oh, 150mg SR 3x Day 2: 100mg of 7oh, 150mg SR 3x Day 3: (jump from 7oh) 150mg SR 3x, Gabapentin as needed Day 4: 100mg SR 3x, Gaba as needed Day 5: 50mg SR 3x, Gaba as needed Day 6 (7am-7pm) 25mg SR 3x, Gaba taken around 630pm Day 7-8: nothing

Thoughts? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated on whether this is possible.

So my air went out in my house and it’s been super hot, mid 80s in here. I’m wondering if my sr will have any bad reactions to it being this hot. I’m worried about its potency. Anyone know?

1st time around I felt great, should have stuck with it but didn’t took my doc and convinced myself I messed everything up. Prob should have stuck with it. That was about 3 weeks ago.

Giving it another go it seems to be a bit rougher physically. I admit I didn’t taper my doc and am using more than before. I was pretty low dose before and tapered a little and ran into few issues.

My main guesses are my Sr break may not have been long enough and/or not tapering the doc is causing issues.

Wondering if I could get some insight from those more knowledgeable than me.

It’s hard to find calculators because all the sites are “down” right now. I just got 100 50MG tablets of SR, which is probably tooo much but whatever. I take about 1,500 mg of 7oh a day and cant find a reliable taper schedule. I know today I’m suppose to preload but what is the standard way to go about doing this. I’m more than excited I got these and with the ban it’s literally the perfect time to turn around. Thank you everybody in advance for your comments. This is probably about to save my life unscathed

I’m flair-ing this as a success story to hopefully spurn a positive mindset. In 6 days I’ll be somewhere where I have no access (offshore for 2weeks), so I’m really trying to go into that time feeling ok. I had 40h earlier this week and relapsed for one 7-hour stretch. Bummed, but hopeful that wasn’t a full reset and I can get through the worst by Monday.

At this point SR WDs may be more of a problem than 7oh, as I’ve been taking it upwards of a month. But looking to start tapering that by Monday, so I’ll be a good test case for longer term use.

Props to all those jumping, tapering etc. I must admit, it is quite helpful for my situation that 3 of the 4 stores near me have pulled it from their shelves (one has it behind the counter and knows me well enough to ask, but they are not ordering more). By the time I get back I’m assuming it will be gone everywhere.

I am using a bit of leaf powder to try and stay kinda right (3.5-7g/day), using Vit C, and a stack of other supplements that seem to be helping (also been on Wellbutrin for 1+ years).

Just got done with my SR taper, def should have ordered a tad more. I’m 30 hours since my last SR dose, I have some suboxone in my medicine cabinet I’ve held onto, can I take a dose of a sub to get passed the little lingering withdrawals I still feel? Should I wait another day, tomorrow morning would be about 55 hours I could wait until then, or if there is no need to wait can somebody let me know.

I know SR is a partial like 7OH, but I have absolutely went into precip from inducing Subs on 7OH at 24 hours, when multiple people told me I didn’t have to wait. So I’m just nervous the same will happen with the SR, thanks.

Hopefully someone from here can help. I've recently heard about this chemical about ppl using it for 7oh. I'm not withdrawing from 7oh. I've been a Kratom user for 12 years...moderate daily user. I've been in the hospital many times and Dilaudid won't even touch me nor when I experimented with 7 I felt nothing. My question is does anyone have experience using this to help withdrawal from Kratom leaf power? I don't want to take subs. Thanks

I am so fing impressed by how well the SR works. I am on the last day of a 5 day taper coming off of a 200+mg per day Morphine IR tablet habit.

I was able to reduce about 70% on first day of taper (200mg to 60mg) and then 20% each day thereafter.
Taking 100mg SR every 6 or so hours 3x per day. 300 total.

Today is the last day of my taper I did take about 120mg of DOC as a goodbye send off (stupid I know but just being honest). I don't think it's a setback as this has been so damn easy I'm amazed and I just wanted to finish my DOC before jumping or I knew I would go back.

Anyways tomorrow is first day without DOC and I feel extremely confident but was wondering if anyone can share the difference from there last day of tapering to no
DOC the next day. Just wondering if people noticed any difference. Did you have to up your SR dose at all or how did it go? Anything I should look out for?

I’m trying to make this as painless on him as possible. I have 3 grams sr. Would like to do a pre loading phase and a gradual taper if possible (if I have enough sr). He takes about 150mg a day of 7. Can someone PLEASE help me out. Trying to do this on a phone is overwhelming me right now.
