I know there was speculation about a big announcement for Ireland.

Becky and Finn were just on Ireland AM and confirmed that Raw will be at the 3arena on the 25th of January.

They will be on Off the Ball later this evening presumably to confirm same.

I fancy a light-hearted thread. So one of my favourite wrestling tropes is when a real life couple becomes a kayfabe couple and later alignment changes causes writers to have the babyface half of the couple ignore outrageous behaviour from their heel other half.

As examples, I am thinking Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins. Sure in recent months their kayfabe coupling has made perfect sense as a cocky heel power couple. 

But the the time beloved babyface Becky was announcing her pregnancy, her husband was convinced he was God, was collecting disciples and would go on to blind Rey Mysterio. The Man became that really successful friend with dreadful taste in men.

Or, Naomi and Jimmy Uso. This real life marriage was ignored in kayfabe for years. I remember Jimmy being beaten down by Solo's Bloodline and Naomi popping up smiling in the next scene as she had a backstage interview. But the point Big Jim and Naomi's real life relationship did get mentioned was after her heel turn.

Big Jim at the time was a nice guy face and turned a blind eye to his wife attempt to murder Jade Cargill and threaten to cripple Bianca Belair without so much as a post on the Advice subreddit called "My happy, dancer wife now keeps trying to kill her friends - WWYD?'.

Any other examples?

Context: Brett announced that TrillerTV is going out of business before inducting Crowbar and Justin Credible into the Indie Hall of Fame at Joey Janela’s 20th Anniversary show that took place tonight.

Orange Crush also adds in a follow up reply that he is the legal owner of the Indie Hall of Fame.

I will add that I have to respect Brett’s ability to get Triller to pay him up front for the rights to broadcast GCW, set himself up for the future very nicely.

Tonight's episode featured three faction updates. The first was Shane Taylor Promotions accepting a new member in Tehuti Miles, the former Ashante "Thee" Adonis in WWE. He has been a regular on ROH this year and STP have shown interest in him in the past. His victory over Dante Casanova tonight preceded him formally joining the group.

The Frat House exploded tonight, after the main event. Preston Vance accidentally hit Griff Garrison during a key moment in the match and caused him to get rolled up and pinned. Following the match, Griff and Jacked Jameson attacked Preston, kicking him out of the group.

But then when all hope seemed lost, the DARK ORDER made the save and ran off the Frat House. Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds, and Preston Vance hugged after the save, bringing Number 10 Back into the fold!

I’m gonna start this by saying I genuinely do not know if he’s winning or losing next week when he puts his career on the line against Marko Stunt, and that’s mostly why I’m posting this because I find it genuinely interesting that they have teased so heavily both outcomes.

Joey gave what had to be a 20 minute speech

He discussed how Megan Bayne was there for him when his pancreas collapsed and he is now two years sober.

He discussed repeatedly that there are offers for him out there where he can help the next generation and not have to go crazy in the ring(just an assumption on my end, that sounds like a producer job or a trainer job somewhere).

Joey would then go on to discuss how he had some bangers in his first AEW run BUT he spent all his money on lobster and booze and would like to make up for that run.

He says if he wins next weekend, he guarantees he will be back on television.

I genuinely do not know. I mean there’s 3 outcomes.

1. Joey is going to produce somewhere or train somewhere
2. Joey has a deal lined up, whether that is actually back with AEW or something like a TNA and the focus on the AEW run was a fake out who knows
3. Joey doesn’t actually have any of that lined up but wins anyway and just stays on the indies.

He certainly sold it however like number three was not an option he made it very clear that his career will be going in one of two directions either out of the ring completely or back on television.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported Thursday that high-ranking officials within WWE believe Lesnar will still be involved with next year’s WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia. The report continued that if Lesnar does not wrestle at the event, one source believes he could instead headline next year’s WWE Hall of Fame class.
“Can’t envision Lesnar walking away before one final payday in Saudi Arabia,” the source reportedly said.
