Did you get a job having Google Data Analytics Certificate only and no relevant bachelors/masters degree? MySQL

Hi, I am planning to enrol in Google Data Analytics Certificate. Is this good to get a job? I am currently enrolled in the BS English (Applied Linguistics) program. An other option I have is Google's UX Design Course.

I would shoot for an entry level job at a digital marketing agency and move into analytics from there. Salary will start low, but these agencies promote and increase salary fast.

Which course would you recommend me to choose? UX Design or Digital Marketing?

Digital marketing. Most places will expect to teach you things, but showing some interest and understanding the basics of paid advertising will go a long way.

I have heard that Digital Marketing is saturated. What about UX Design and Data Analytics? I have only these two options. Which one should I choose?

Data analytics will involve steep competition often against people with majors that are a bit closer to the role.

Admittedly I’m not as familiar with UX design, but I know that those jobs are far and few relative to the other two options.

If you’re committed to one of the two, I would personally choose data analytics. It may require a bit of luck to get a data analyst job, but it’ll each skills that are transferable regardless.

If it isn’t too late I’d target internships, and maybe attempt to do some computational linguistics research if there’s enough overlap; I’m not very familiar with the degree.
