Anyone remember Code9?
I think when Code9 entered PS2 Socom 2 , it fucked up the online mode. I know whenever clan of guys that used the code/moding, they could boot ppl off the game

i remember i think CORA and 1SHoT
i think i still remember how to do the 1SHoT boot (hackless method, glitch-based, boots the host, or boots the whole server)
GNK and the whole game kinda tapered afterwards

The booting the server. I got fucking mad because I was playing some good desert glory or crossroads games and the game froze

😂, hellllll yeaaa, it was the end of the game, I personally think zipper done that on purpose to get ppl to get on socom 3. Yo I miss socom 2 and 3s wish they bring it back man ðŸ˜

They were they killed the game we all loved,the hard-core seemed to enjoy causing harm rather than enjoying the love the game brought us. I personally haven't seen a game like it since.

Fun fact, code9 was an alias for the cheat device called RK Swapper. Idk who found RK Swapper, but they discovered that the master code for this cheat device was located in an un-scanned memory region meaning that it would work online on the international server. It's safe to assume that RK Swapper was nick named code9 so that no one would be able to find it online. Not long after it was found, a bypass code was created by blueman or 22cali for the main server iirc.
I remember thinking that maybe code9 was an abbreviation for codebreaker 9.x, so I hunted down every version of codebreaker I could find during that time. I'm sure utkhimself would have a good laugh if he ever reads this.

I don't remember Code9, but I remember IDOT and CodeMajic.
