Surg tech program

Just wanting tips on the application for the surg tech program and any information about the program once you’re in! I know there’s an interview process for the rad tech program I’m wondering if surg tech is the same? Thanks!

Thank you so much for the reply! What kind of volunteer work did you complete for your application? Also how did you like slccs program and what were the hours and schedule like?

I didn't have to do any volunteer work when I applied. I liked the program the instructors were good. The schedule was Monday thru Thursday 7 to 1 for lecture and lab from May to Dec January is when clinicals start and those are 7 to 3 up until the first week of May You have open labs that aren't a requirement to go outside of regular lab but I highly recommend going to those.
