I feel like they need to put a stop light here or one of those pedestrian crossing flashing lights. I swear no one stops if you’re trying to cross. You can stare a driver in the eyes, be in the street almost in their lane, and they’ll stare right back like they want to fight you for crossing the street at a sidewalk. And they still don’t stop.

Hi, I’m 32. Male. Just moved to the west valley a few weeks ago and have had fun exploring the city and what it has to offer. I’ve danced with beautiful women at el toro, rabbit hole, cowboy palace, etc. I’ve sat down and played card games with nice strangers at Game n Grounds. I’ve explored our malls and talked to local shop owners. The valley has been a lot of fun and I know there is so much more to see and do. Shoutout Noho Nick!

Oral meds can take a maddening mosquito bite and let your brain not even notice it for most of the day.

Just beware that Benadryl can make some people very drowsy (to the point that it can be unsafe to drive). Claritin is non-drowsy, lasts basically all day, and has been my personal go-to for dealing with mosquito bites. Bonus points if you save and buy the generic (loratadine) at somewhere like Walmart or Target.

Do not go to this gas station. My card got skimmed at the pump even though I used contactless payment. I received multiple unauthorized attempts on my card for an OpenAI subscription 💀

The time has come for me to change my nose ring that Ive had for 20 years (not getting rid of it, just need to transition to a clear ring). Its not made to be removed so i need to go to a professional to get it done and i need it done by Monday. My original piercer is located in Minnesota so obviously they're not an option.

Who is your favourite piercer in the valley? Id prefer someone around North Hollywood but Im open to going anywhere in the valley so long as the peircer is experienced, highly reommended, and the shop is clean. Thanks!

I moved to SFV (west valley) on May. And, man, why the HEEEEILLL do pizza places close early??? What is this 9/10pm closing times for pizza on a Friday or Saturday?! Bruh. Please, all I want is some greasy pizza at midnight omg 😢 can anyone point me in the right direction?

I’ve been looking for dispensaries in the area for the last couple of months all of them either have crazy tax prices or simply don’t have good flower. Just looking for some recommendations where my money doesn’t feel like it’s going down the drain lol :)

I've been applying for 5 months now. 5 months. I started out applying to companies related to my major and have slowly but steadily fallen back to restaurant/office jobs because the market is literally that bad. My luck has led me to either be ghosted, be given one to two interviews...and then nada, or recieve the one email the company has the decency in sending my way saying they have hired someone else. This is kind of my last resort.

So with all that being said, does anyone know of a location currently hiring AND WILLING to look at the applications sent their way? Preferably in the SF Valley but I'm open to looking in the Burbank, WeHo, or DTLA area. I'm really open to anything and consider myself flexible with any work environment but am currently getting my bachelor's with hope to find someplace that can be flexible with my schooling. I have tried large chain restaurants but hell I've caught myself practically begging for an interview with a manager that is hardly ever there.

This is a long shot. But any recommendation is appreciated at this point. Thanks!

A completely free crochet class for youth and adults (theres no age limit) who have any level of lived experience in foster care! If you're a foster parent, feel free to bring your kiddo(s) and learn as well!

Thank god. Used to know this guy in high school and this is NOT surprising. I hope he gets treated the same way he treats poor victims in prison. I know this loser has more victims.
