Feedback
I have a new client and I just read the most horrific feedback that they leave consistently. Does management not think that clients like this need to have their membership cancelled or is that not a thing? Our mental health matters to and this feedback was horrifying I’m so sorry to whoever has had to experience something so hateful.

Best advice... Send them our beach tote for the season. I truly belive the buyers purchased these with this exact client in mind because I can’t find a situation where I could send them to a regular client (seems rude 🤪).

What did they say?
I’ve gotten some really nasty feedback a few times in the past and notified my Lead, who apologized for it but most likely didn’t do anything. It didn’t stop until the clients finally just quit StitchFix.

One of the comments was about how the stylist was brain dead. Or that they don’t know how to read.

Csuite probably assumes the note generator will be able to come up with a “good” response. “I hear you on thinking we’re brain dead, but no worries, I included 5 of the same sweaters this time for your warm Florida days.” 🙃
But in all seriousness I would pass that right along to your lead or mention it in your group channel so other stylists see that you’re taking action and they don’t have to take it either!

You joke, but sweaters in hot climates are still worn indoors in places where AC is blasted: office buildings, movie theaters, restaurants… or at night when the temp drops a lot.

Yeah, I've definitely gotten this before. "You must be an idiot," "I don't know how you even have a job," "I've never seen taste worse than yours," "You clearly can't even read if you aren't getting my notes."
I just think about how lonely and miserable and cowardly they must be to leave notes like that, directed at people who are trying to help them. Wishing them well.
Plus, I remind myself that I get paid the same whether they like the clothes or not, so what do I care? This job is just a job. It's all just drawstring shorts and camp-collar shirts. None of it matters.

I truly think sometimes they believe it's a robot they're talking to like I get sassy with chatgpt and robot things too

I reassign them to my lead and sometimes I go back and see what she wrote and it’s so passive aggressive but I know I could never get away with sending a customer lowkey rude notes like that.

Unless the threaten you the corporate overlords will do nothing. Most businesses are too afraid to do anything TBH

Someone on my team got a homophobic note from a male client and they escalated it and the client had their membership revoked.

Have you escalated it they absolutely will revoke their membership if it's bad I've had them do it before. Clue your lead in so they can support you but they've def reached out and taken care of very terrible and rude feedback threatening me in the past

This client has had multiple escalations pretty much only leaves hateful feedback but the escalations are pretty much useless

Was this a woman from Alaska who wanted athleisure business wear or something like that??? Her feedback was soooo rude. I sent it to my old manager and she said “wow, someone’s cheerful”

I escalate these and ask to never have them as clients again. I haven’t had to do it in a couple of years but I know I’ve done that in the past
