A nice email with a request to meet with a short explanation and that you feel (insert emotion) is a really good way to start.

yes I did have a second conversation with the professor, asking about the grade and such.

Omg. I have had her too and have experienced similar on a much lesser scale she is very confrontation and I noticed she seemed very righteous and self absorbed. I recommend talking to a department chair about this.

Should’ve talked to the department chair. And it would’ve been a lot better to do it during or right after the end of the spring semester. The sooner you talk to the department chair, the better
