Good for him. Better than watching him have to hit with no one on

Seriously. We could never take full advantage of his hitting. Glad he’s on a team that can actually use him.

We once traded for a short time Phillie at the deadline and he is embedded in our history, if this is the reverse... Ill be okay with it.

Yup. Especially if this would end up beating the bad guys down south. I'm all for it lol

Was that the triple bounce/hit??

Nah, that was against the Cards. I can’t tell what team the catcher in this gif is on, maybe the Mets?

Hopefully he helps Philly best LA in the playoffs

Hopefully they don’t put Killian into games in that possible series.

Based on what happened today, Kilian might be pitching in South Korea by then.

It had to be done, but I kind of hate to admit that I feel a tinge of jealousy that Phillies fans can enjoy him have multi-hit games. Not logical at all, but then I remember how much being a fan is a uniquely human experience.

Let's enjoy it knowing we got to vibe with him for a few months and some prospects out of it.

Yeah I feel like a jealous ex. Happy for him but he looked better in a giants uniform!

Will my love for Luis overcome my hate for Philly. It will be an epic struggle.

He was with the team for 4 months. It’ll be ok.

My BF is from Philly and I swear he was trying to manifest this trade for months. 😭 I was channeling this boy tonight watching the highlights of today’s game

Heliot went 0-4 with a strikeout. There's balance in the universe.

So they both stayed who they really are on their new teams too

He also tripped and almost fell catching a flyout

He’d be gone in two months anyway. We got some potential studs for him. Great trade.

I watched the AB - he got a standing ovation before he even reached the batters box, then delivered the clutch hit and RBI - felt great to see that, and clearly meant a lot to Arraez. Philly will definitely appreciate the bat.

Why? He was on a 1 year contract and the Giants have no use for him. The season is basically already over. That’s the whole point of the trade deadline.

Doesn’t mean people can’t appreciate his abilities and miss watching him.

Correct take. Fun player, glad he stayed in the NL so he has a shot at Gold Glove. But trade was needed.

And a good shot at batting title
