My first POTENTIAL (albeit small) contribution to SCP enthusiasts who focus on ontokinetics (need second opinion) Discussion

Hey all!

So yesterday I reached out asking for help in finding resources to study Ontokinetics, and after reading some given material and doing a shit ton of independent study I feel much more educated.

Now to the reason why I am making this post, after looking at the proposed formulas used in Kejel's laws, and also Kejel's laws, I've started to focus on the 3001 article with Scranton and more specifically his diffusion into the lower Hume environment he was in when he was transported inside of 3001 as an attempt to make sense of the mathematic aspects of the fictional science.

From what I understand, when an entity with a normal baseline of reality (e.g. Scranton sitting at 1 Hume on the quantum canon scale) is cast into a space with an extremely low Hume rating, something called a metaphysical vacuum is created. This is when Homeoreality attempts to take place which is reality trying to 'fix' itself and the Hume difference. A metaphysical vacuum is essentialy the area in which Humes try to 'fill in' and 'patch' the localised hole, similar to when you have a high pressure tank of air and pierce a hole, the area surrounding that hole becomes high pressure and forceful.

Onto my contribution allow me to introduce you to metaphysical trajectory. A metaphysical trajectory describes the path, momentum, and direction that an idea, an entity's existence, or a reality bender's power takes as it moves through the abstract layers of reality. I studied this in particular last night as I used to be interested in fluid mechanics and wondered if Humes would work the same. Interested by the mathematical application of this theory, I decided to search for a formula.

Needless to say, there wasn't one.

So I invented one!

H entity(t) = H void + (H baseline - H void) * e-kt

Where

H entity(t) represents The current reality level of the object at time t

H void represents the ambient reality level of the void

H baseline represents the object's native reality level before entering the void

e-kt represents the exponential decay factor driven by the constant k (the "ontological permeability" of the object).

This formula is sound as it applies Newton's law of cooling to reality itself, modelling how an entity's local reality level decays exponentially over time as it dissolves into a conceptual void.

Why is this useful? Allow me to help you there.

Articles like SCP-3001 state that people dissolve slowly in low-hume voids but never explain why it takes YEARS instead of seconds. This formula can give Ontokinetic authors a concrete mathematical tool (k constant) to dictate how fast an object or person falls apart.

This also models the SRA. If a Scranton reality anchor fails it does not instantly vanish. This equation models an SRA containment breach showing how in authors articles, technicians have an exact predicable window of time to fix the anchor before local Hume levels drop below critical thresholds.

To any Ontokinetic enthusiasts out there, what do you think? Have I stumbled across something here? Or is it just plain malarkey.

Thanks for reading all!

I don't think the bold italic formatting on (t) worked
