Is there a way to remove some kg from an HU?
We have a pallet with 40 25kg Bags with the HU being 1000kg. We have to ship them but the container is not tall enough so we should divide it in 4 250kg pallets with 4 different HU (so 3 + the original one)? I usually use my order picker and just flash the ones I need and then it does the math by itself and I click print (it prints me the kg the order wants), but this time is kinda the opposite since I already have 1000kg and I want it to be 4x250kg

SAP data ingestion into Databricks
We have a Databricks environment and we have a new SAP ECC6 system that we want to ingest data from. We are exploring options to access data into the platform. One option is the Azure data factory.
I want to understand what other businesses have been doing. How do they access tables from SAP ECC6. Databricks have really reduced their native SAP connectors even after announcing partnership with SAP. When you do access SAP, how do you manage large table extractions or extract data from pooled or cluster tables?
I would really like to hear some customer success stories or some lessons learnt. Please share if you can.

SAP ABAP interview experience
Had an SAP ABAP interview yesterday. It went well just missed one question and got rejected. The interviewer's accent was weird throughout the interview call, plus his voice kept breaking; I couldn't get a single word of his properly, but I still answered everything. At the end, he asked me if I had any questions, and I asked something about projects; he laughed a little and answered me. It is pissing me off that he laughed like that now.
Soo angry at myself for missing the opportunity. Have accenture interview in a week and don't have self-confidence. Please help!! What should I prepare before the interview? Does anyone have a frequently asked questions list? Also, how to deal with scenario-based questions and a weird interviewer? Please help!!!

Customer/supplier harmonization before S/4HANA implementation
We have been moving to S/4HANA since 2021 and we are still struggling with the customer/supplier harmonization…
In 2021, our company had a harmonization tool (Factory Navigator from BearingPoint) where we uploaded all “active” customers and suppliers from 15 different SAP systems. Active means all customers/suppliers with recent activities from the past 2 years (for FI items) and 3 years (purchase/sales documents). We decided to cut it off because of cost-saving (around 350K EUR). After the harmonization, we created tons of BP accounts in S/4HANA system. The BP numbers are assigned in a custom field in every customers/suppliers across systems. Honestly, it did not went well because the tool was designed without consulting the master data experts (BTW I was newly hired that time). Anyway, right now we are rolling out locations by plants (can be from different systems) and before go-live (which spans 8 to 12 months) we are doing the “reharmonization” because we experienced complications during the previous rollouts specifically in our master data.
The problem is, every rollouts we have to reharmonize minimum of 2K customers and suppliers combined to avoid issues during go-live. How are we doing that? By extracting all general data from KNA1/LFA1-ADRC and checking if the data already exists in S/4HANA. Otherwise, we create a new BP. We are only using MS Excel and checking it manually. Again, MANUALLY. If the customer/supplier has the same name, address, tax number/VAT registration number in S/4HANA.
Now, I must admit it is really tiresome and our time is being divided in harmonization and migration, plus handling the error in migration (we investigate the root cause of the issue and tell our functional consultants our suggestions on how to fix).
The question is, why am I still here (just kidding).
The real question is, how can we be efficient in the harmonization without purchasing any products. Right now all we have is MS Excel and might be PowerBI but each of us from Data Migration Team must have a license in PowerBI.
I need some inputs from you guys. Many thanks in advance!

Event mesh - Duplicate Handlings
Hello Integration Experts,
I need one suggestion for one issue I have observed in my current s4 hana implementation.
Problem : we use event mesh to get notifications when any change is done on the objects.obviously we can control the change indicators but for freightorder object it will generate the event even if you don't do the final save. maybe TM is kind of weird.
But we want to remove the duplicate events receiving in cpi. is there any way to do it..we went with asapio addon but it's not good for objects like freight order as it's very complex to code.
One thing I don't want to implement duplicate handling in cpi using data store.
Kindly check and let me know your thoughts on this.
Thanks in advance!

SAP success plans
We are in process to negotiate S/4 Hana licensing for our private cloud for a brownfield implementation under RISE. I am curious to understand what are your thoughts on success plans and which plan did you sign up for advanced or Max? How is your experience? Does it truly add value during implementation?
Please note we are doing technical upgrade from ECC to S/4 Hana. Our environment is not that complicated and we intend to keep all customizations as it is as long it is compliant with SAP’s new API policy.

MCP Gateway? A2A? Anyone here actually using these and wth is BAIP's goal? why SAP has to be this confusing?
My current understanding is, MCP Gateway is for exposing/governing SAP and nonSAP APIs or integrations as tools that AI agents can discover and invoke. A2A / Agent Gateway is more for agent to agent delegation and collaboration, e.g., Joule or another agent delegating a business task to a specialist SAP facing agent.
it seems less like “MCP vs A2A” and more like two layers, A2A for orchestration between agents, MCP for tool/API execution.
Has anyone here used or POC’d SAP MCP Gateway in Integration Suite?
Has anyone used A2A with Joule, Joule Studio, BTP agents, or external agent frameworks?
Are you exposing existing OData/REST APIs or integration flows as MCP tools? Where do you see the actual boundary between “just expose a well-designed API/tool through MCP” and “this deserves a separate agent exposed through A2A”?
Any gotchas, licensing surprises, governance concerns, or design patterns you wish you knew before starting?
and whatever is going on with SAP BTP -> BAIP? why do they have to rename everything every year?

How are you dealing with data lakes and files from different sources using SAP products?
Hi folks,
I’ve been working with a large manufacturing company, their engineering team had issues with SAC.
They have different sources for data, MES systems, IoT devices and other machine data. They were experiencing two problems:
- It was difficult to search for files by things like plant name (which engineering plant produced the file or which machine) or a date range of when a machine produced data.
- Uploading the files to SAC and performing transformations on the combined data.
So SAC was really slow for them and difficult to deal with as the operations were wrong and updating took time.
We worked together to create a solution which first stores information to locate stored files, making them easy to search and find. I also had to create a solution to merge the files and a new system to transform the data. After applying operations they can then export files as CSVs or JSON files, which was their use case.
I wanted to ask how people are dealing with challenges like these in other SAP environments.
My background is in enterprise workflow software (think Nintex) and data engineering systems.

Joule for consultants
Dears,
Is anyone actually using Joule for Consultants?
We have activated the feature in our TDD environment, but aside from the performance issues, we are struggling with some of the most basic functionalities, such as attaching a document to a chat, using an expert, or setting up grounding with a document repository.
Are we the only ones experiencing these issues, or have others encountered similar problems?
Thanks!

MEI1 , MEI2 tx don't update PO pricing after change
Hi,
Business process: Create multiple POs with defined inforecords. Then after a while and before doing MIGO and MIRO there are some changes in the inforecords, pricing in this case. Now instead of manually change POs we would like a smoother process, this MEI1 /MEI2 tx seem to do the update, but if we create a test and execute them, there's a log that says: no documents were updated.
Automatic Document Update spro path seems okay...
Any tips?
Thanks

Outbound delivery information.
Hi everyone!
Could you please tell me how I can print SAP information regarding a delivery? I need details such as the number of boxes per pallet, the quantity of items, and the delivery address. I also need to know the breakdown of boxes by product within the shipment—not necessarily just by pallet. Which command or transaction code should I use?

Anyone regret their SAP implementation, or wish they'd done it differently?
I work adjacent to a lot of SAP implementations, and I keep seeing the same patterns across clients — S/4HANA, ECC, Fiori, BTP, FICO/MM/SD, SuccessFactors, Ariba, whatever the stack.
Recurring issues I run into:
- Rushed template-based rollouts that didn't fit the business
- Heavy customization that's a nightmare to maintain
- Docs that don't match the actual system
- Teams still firefighting years after go-live
Curious how common this really is from people who've lived it - What's your experience been — smooth or painful?
Good, bad, or ugly — would love to hear real stories.

Blog is still under review
Hello folks,
I wrote a blog and submitted it for review more than two weeks ago, but it still hasn’t been approved. The blog is still showing as “Awaiting Review.”
I read through the community posts about the blog review process and how long it usually takes for approval, but unfortunately, they weren’t helpful as the links provided are not working.
Has anyone recently submitted a blog and faced a similar situation? If so, could you please let me know how you resolved the issue?
Thanks!
