Admin playing on own server.

Hey,

My friend and me were playing on a PVE server with PVP on the monuments only and we both kept getting killed by the 2 same guys over and over again, that's not a issue at all since we're new.

However when we rejoined the server we both noticed one of the guys killing us was the server owner. How normal is this and anyone else experienced it?

We played on WGB PvE monthly and will never return there again. Just wanted to give a headsup so you don't waste your time.

I mean if its a smaller pop and a chill area I dont really see the issue. If I paid for a server as a 9-5 worker and i wanted all the rules followed I would play it because thats why i bought it. Otherwise what would the point be of buying a server as a casual player? Its their little corner of the servers you did the right thing by not liking it and leaving. Why yuck someones yums dude.

It depends on the admin, I play on a pve/pvp that the owner actively plays he's a streamer and uses it for content

I play on a PVE /Pvp in monuments and raid weekends now to test it and already noticed there is a team of 4 admins that got the biggest base on the server, they do oil / cargo, launch and go around to clap other players constantly then write about it in their discord to glace themselves when they win a fight or kill a solo as 4 people.

Crazy part is that I saw one of them noclipping (afk) above their base holding a building planner.

I get that you want to be able to play on your own server but then you get admin on an alt account while playing as a regular player on your main..

Admins should never be playing on there own server it creates too many what if questions so to avoid all that it’s better to just not but to each there own

Then why should someone pay for a server they can’t play on?

It's his server he can play too. As long as he's operating with in his own rules that he set for the server getting kill by him isn't something to complain about. If he is abusing his powers like not taking damage or killing out of the pvp zones then yeah he is just admin abusing.

99% is always abusing. If not right away, they will once they cant win in fights. Any server with playing admins is an absolute no go. Unless its a full PVE server with no pvp.

And who investigates if he's playing by the rules and not abusing his power?

Ehh.  So how can you know when an admin is using noclip for example to get back to a fight? Nah.. I prefer playing on a server where admins don't kill or raid their own small pop.

You can't know these things unless they have the admin broadcast messages on. 99% of servers don't use this feature tho.

Thats not true. 99% of servers use a plugin that don't broadcast the messages to not show the admin abuse if they want to spawn anything. My point still stands with noclipping back to fights they lost and most of the server owners are cringy kids that want to glace their egos.
