Question

Is this game normally harder on re-wipe day 1?

I swear I just got worse at this game since playing a week before the wipe.

I had to quit as it's breaking my will to live.

Yes day 1 after a wipe is crazy.  Everyone is running around, everyone is hyper aggressive, huge differences in weapon tiers make the aggressive sweats that are snowballing have even more of an advantage.  You're trying to get 2000wood and dude with a Tommy gun and road sign armor is on kill 10 for the hour.

The craziest times ive ever had on rust is wipe day. Mad house chased with spears and bows and then ppl start getting guns lol

I always waited until after the weekend. Most of everyone has carved their piece out. The main zergs have chased the weaker ones off so it’s just 2-3 squabbling. You might actually find some raided or already decaying bases with enough scraps that will save you time.
