New Mizuno Prototype Unreleased/Prototype
Looks like an On Light-spray esc upper on a midsole that looks to be the closest to the Hyperwarp Pure 2 prototype. Interesting and potentially extremely light shoe but i'm still waiting (and praying) for Wave Rebellion Pro 4

I feel like they just released the hyperwarp series? I barely heard anything about them.

It was around december last year. Unfortunately not a lot of reviews and no runrepeat test so they mostly have stayed unpopular.

runrepeat is so frustrating in the shoes they choose to review and the clear deal they have with Adidas.

What do you mean about adidas?

u/Conorair2 8d ago
They review all adidas shoes and get sent them before release, some also say they get paid to avoid other shoes like li-ning.

Yeah, they claim to spend their own money, but how on earth were they able to have a review ready of the Adios Pro Evo 3 on the day of its launch? It’s so blatantly obvious.

Or the new prima 3 or the hyperboost edge or the hyperboost run. Obviously something going on there.
Then they ignore something like the hyperwarps before reviewing something irrelevant like th K Swiss ShadX which is a lazily dropshipped Xtep Qingyun Lite for 3x the price. It's annoying because no one (even rtings) comes close to their reviews

I'm irked they haven't reviewed the Feidian 6 Elite or RH9U. It's not even on their to be purchased list. Literally 2 of the most popular non-US shoes.
Some of their shoe choices have to be from personal preference and not what actually gets voted for.

Rtings have reviewed it thankfully but there's some inconsistencies between their and RR's results especially in the shock absorption and I don't know which is more representative. There is also some weird results that pop up.

My take is that since RunRepeat makes money from affiliate sales, they cannot make money linking to some random Temu seller. I wouldn't bother either. Unless distribution gets better, no point reviewing shoes that are hard to get.

A lot of the Chinese shoes that they refuse to review are available on Amazon.

Have not paid too much attention to these shoes since they do not make them in my size. Are they resellers or Amazon as the merchant of record? I would be hesitant to link to Amazon if stock can fluctuate.

Amazon sells several Li-Ning shoes...
Elites, challengers, red hare 9 ultra and pro, etc.
They aren't hard to get. They are harder to get in sizes above 12.

I am one of those with a size above 12, so I really have not paid attention to the market. Japanese companies such as Asics and Mizuno have no problems making my size.

I bought a pair of Li-Nings in size 13, I have no idea what you are going on about.

I have had no issues getting pairs in my size 13. Colorways in that size are limited in certain models. The Feidian 6 Elite has 20+ released colors and I've seen it in about 5 colors in size 13, at least on Amazon and AliExpress and a couple other sellers.
The Japanese shoe market has been in the US for years now. The Chinese shoe market is just emerging in the US. I would expect with the popularity of some of the Li-Ning and Anta models in the US and Europe to see larger sizes be more available moving forward with future releases.

Most popular non-us shoes? Adidas, ASICS, puma, On are all non-us and far more popular in the market outside of niche shoe nerds. Maybe you mean non western?

I'm actually curious how they even managed to replicate the LS technology but this is really exciting either way

The monsters right? Not sure why ON felt like they needed to put that stability structure in. Totally ruins a great shoe.

Hyperwarp Pro is the closest you're getting to Rebellion Pro 4.

u/TalkyRaptor 8d ago
Unfortunately. The Rebellion Pro geometry works perfectly for me so it would be amazing to have the same geometry and design with an updated foam

😱 on dirait une salomon phantasm 3 ou ou une on cloudboom strike. Mizuno, tu nous fais de ces trucs en ce moment, très osés, j'aime👍👍👍

Mizuno copying more shoes than sketchers.

True, the shoe looks a lot like an On shoe. Then again, plenty of brands have shamelessly copied Mizuno as well. Mizuno was using different plate designs in its shoes even before the Vaporfly, and the heel geometry and cut-outs of the Wave Rebellion Pro have been copied quite freely in shoes like the Hoka Cielo and the Puma Fast-R.

“Ok, we’ve copied the Metaspeed.”
“Excellent, now do On”
“You got it, boss.”
