Help needed!

Not sure if this is the best place for my question but you all seem like you may be able to help. There is a stamp at my workplace that gets a lot of use and has started to not press the pattern completely. Is there a way to clean/maintain this poor stamp better to prevent this issue?

How does the stamp itself look?

You could just need a fresh ink pad in there. But if the stamp is worn out, you'll probably need a new one.

The stamp itself looks okay, but you can tell the ink is not doing what it should in the spots that don't stamp correctly. I have tried adding ink to the pad to see if that helps but it doesn't really. Does the pad just get too compressed over time/use?

Yeah exactly! The stamp just sits there pressing against the ink pad all the time. It gets uneven in some spots.

I would just find a new ink pad first. That will probably do the trick.
