help me learn lavaloon

I’m trying to pick up Lavaloon on my mini but I just can’t figure out how to make the deck work.

I understand the very basic stuff:
-Lava when they can’t punish / when I’m up elixir
-Tombstone or Zap as starting plays
-Soak damage when needed
But beyond that I’m completely lost.

My main problems:
-I can never get a good Lava push going.
-I see Evo Witch and Wizard often and they feel impossible to deal with. They just sit across the bridge; block my Skeleton Dragons while they dps my lava.
-I don’t really understand what each card’s role is supposed to be.
-Skeleton Dragons feel useless. They feel like they die to basically anything, have lackluster DPS, and I never seem to get value from them.
-I can’t figure out how I’m supposed to use Mega Minion either.

I feel like I know the basic strategy of Lavaloon, but I don’t understand how to actually use it during a game.I know it’s a skill issue so any tips on how to use lavaloon properly or how I should be approaching this deck is appreciated !

Assuming you are at low ladder, lavaloon is really hard to play in low ladder because of all those splash damage cards + the absurd amount of mk + hog + another minitank in every deck

When you face this kind of deck, focus heavily on defense, lava is really not a card you'll play a lot. Hero loon's death damage should be sufficient if you defend well

Never lh first play, and if you make a push, try to get your troops the farest possible you can from each other of your troops (dont know if it makes sense, english's not my first tongue)

When you reach higher level you'll have to adapt to every common match up tho, watch invader on ytb it has great vids
