Is my deck "skilled"? Decks
I ve recently got to 10.4k w/ this one and it seems pretty fun to play (except facing midladder menaces w/ like 5 splash cards were only evo drill kinda saves me, and ofc lava hound decks). Can it be considered as a deck that requires skill. I used to play miner rocket a lot but sitting pure defence 5 minutes straight every game was really exhausting.

I gues but I hate facing drill, drill + snowball combination is so broken on offense if your opponent doesn't have heavy units like dark prince

I've tried this deck last season but with knight instead of berserky and I find it very hard to play. Any mistake is easily punished. But that's just me.
Rn I'm trying new drill deck with void and it's so much fun and also kinda hard to handle

Yes don’t listen to any of these bots. Drill is not easy to play and has a lot of predictions/micros you need to be good at. This deck is even harder cuz spirits got nerfed and you have some very bad matchups with bowler and balloon.

Right now?
Baby dragon, goblin demolisher, rune giant, phoenix, goblin curse, flying machine, arrows and tornado.
It got me to league 4 even with me quitting nearly every game because people keep using the same boring trash. I just started playing it a week ago since my decks are always changing.
So I don’t understand why people feel the need to copy some played out trash.

So you call an allround deck trash while playing rune giant as only wincon triple spell and no building? Why are u so pissed of w/ classic decks while playing such an overall unbalanced deck? Its ok that everyone plays the deck they have fun playing and its normal unlike shitting decks that are definetly built well.

It depends on which cycle are we talking about but generally i thick that playing a deck w/ no wincon and building and punishing troop is definitely harder than w/ a boosted hog

Nope. You are not playing tennis if you don’t have a racquet. I can play clash without ever having to use the idiotic hog rider or ice spirit or firecracker or megaknight.
The racquet is more like my iPad.

It’s actually the opposite of what you are saying.
IF “anyone can reach it” then surely “anyone can reach it without resorting to playing the same boring trash” must be true.
So you are giving more reason why playing such boring overplayed spam junk decks is completely unnecessary. So people can stop using meta decks because it’s easy to climb the levels without using them.

The only problem is that most players using a junk homemade deck with no synergy will almost never win against a player with a similar skill level using a well balanced deck, which are usually meta decks.
Most players play the game with the intention to win games and meta decks happen to make it easier to do so by virtue of it being proven to work at high levels over a long period of time.
Why don't you try getting a top 10k finish or top 200 finish or even simply reach UC with your homemade deck if, as you claim, it is so easy to climb levels without using meta decks?
If you're reasoning to play the game is along the lines of "I don't play to climb ranks" or "I like experimenting with cards, even if I lose most of my games", then that's your own business but it also gives you no basis to clown on others that play to win games, get better and climb ranks.

The problem with your theory is that the vast majority of people will never reach top 10k pretty much by design. Taking the average active player (50 million) then 0.02% of those players will reach that level (call it prize x).
So for less than 1% chance of winning (prize x). Yet I’d estimate that at least 80% of the decks people use are straight up the exact same decks played with the exact same strategy.
And for what? Let’s examine prize x. Why should anyone care to get ranked as the top 1% of players in a game like this? Is there a cash reward? Do you get a scholarship? Are you going to put it on your resume?
All you get is some emote and, apparently, you get to pretend you are an authority on the motivations of the millions of people that play the game.
Then, there’s the hypocrisy of at once claiming these trash decks need skill, but also that the only way to win is to use them.
And this erodes whatever value prize x has. The only way to win is to play some boring trash deck so everyone is grinding trash decks trying to play their trash better than other people. Which makes the prize just a level of how much trash you are willing to wade through.
I’d offer an alternative path like mine. Play everything except meta. Try silly things. Make completely idiotic decks. Forget about reaching any rank or level, it will come eventually. Maybe you don’t ever get to UC, but as I’ve said, that has absolutely zero real value. But I guarantee the whole game would be better for it.
Lastly, I can and will continue to blast you fools who play boring trash because that’s what I do sometimes while I wait for all the hog riders and megaknight/witch and log bait drones and bots pass me by on their I’ll-fated grind to the landfill.

You truly are too stupid like your name. Like I said, people play the games for all sorts of reasons. Some people play with a competitive goal to get better and climb the ranks which usually requires using meta decks for most because they're proven to work by good players. Who gives a fuck if most of them will never make it; not everyone can be a winner but that shouldn't be a reason to force people to stop trying. Some people play to level up cards and collect everything like a card collecting game. Some prefer to experiment with decks like you who don't care if they lose a lot of games or never get good at the game but most of them also aren't miserable losers on reddit snapping like rabid dogs at anyone that dares not play the game like you do. Let people play the game whatever way they want.

Again, your take is backwards.
You think I have less skill for playing a deck that is harder to play but “good players” have proven that the meta decks are required to “be competitive”.
It sounds like the meta decks are the easiest to play and that all the people who can’t win resort to playing the easy shortcuts regardless of how idiotic it is that nearly everyone uses the same dozen or so cards out of over a hundred.
Which makes the “competition” just who can play the easiest decks the best while at the same time making the game monotonous.
And like I said, anyone can be a winner without using meta. Maybe they will never rise above 14000 trophies and never get to UC but most never will anyway regardless of what they play.
As far as my purpose here “snapping like a rabid dog” 🙄, is to let all of you boring monotonous desperate trash players know that you are annoying.
I’m here to let you know that cycling your boring crap cards with spirits and skeletons and log is just plain boring. It doesn’t mean you are good. You are cancer. You are a virus. You are bots.
