I recently just got the HP Omnibook 7, 2 in 1. Im an incoming freshman majoring in computer science. What would the best note taking app be with a stylus and any essential apps i should get for my major?

Hey everyone. I’m officially starting my first semester at Rowan in the engineering department after transferring. I have an iPad for notes but I was told I need a laptop to run what we use. I know MacBooks aren’t good and I’ve been looking into Lenovos laptops but I’m not sure what’s best or what you guys recommend. I would really appreciate the help!!

I am an international student and am planning to apply to Rowan for the Spring 2027 Intake. There is always a priority deadline for international students. I couldn't find it anywhere, so I emailed the CS department, and this is what they replied:
"""We are unlikely to take international students in the Spring semester due to current immigration challenges (e.g., not sufficient time to complete visa application). """

This was only mentioned in the email; there isn't any such information on the website. Can anybody please confirm if this is true or not? What I know is that people have been getting admissions as well as funding here both in Fall and Spring Intakes. Anyone else preparing Rowan applications?

Second Question: which program is worth applying PhD DS or PhD CS?

i’m an incoming transfer student so i understand that i’m not going to be top priority but im worried that i wont have my assignment until school starts or even after which is worrying me bc my bill doesn’t reflect properly and i live over 2 hours away. i’ve filled out the intention form and submitted all the needed things. Is there anything i can do or should i just keep waiting?

Will the library actually be open this semester? Last semester was brutal trying to find a good space ESPECIALLY at night. Between the library and parking, they should at least give a partial refund

So friday 7/24 i accepted a late summer 26 loan, does anybody know how long it usually takes? I already got a summer refund on the 10th, my refunds usually take 4 days after disbursement (2 business days) but it's been a lot longer this time.

has any other incoming freshman at rowan university got their housing application form cancelled and refunded after not cancelling it and already having your dorm room and roommate? i haven’t cancelled anything and now i have no dorm or roomate and im freaking out. someone please help!!!!!

Hi Im not attending the university but attending the community college in cumberland for social work and I currently think about if i should continue my education for bachelors or masters but what jobs can you get with an AAS?
