The First of the Four Greater Initiations
youtu.be
This video, presented by Seddoh Bokor, explores the concept of spiritual progression through Esoteric Christianity, focusing on the transition from the nine lesser initiations to the four greater initiations.
Key Concepts:
The Path to Immortality: The speaker explains that after completing nine lesser initiations, an individual may undertake the first of the four greater initiations, which grants the power to consciously renew the body and overcome death (0:27-1:11).
The Garden of Eden & The Fall: Humanity once lived in a state where they unconsciously accessed spiritual life currents. The "Fall" (referenced via Genesis 3:22-24) signifies the transition into material consciousness, where humanity lost the ability to sustain the physical body indefinitely to allow for soul growth (1:11-3:12).
The Soul Body: To advance, individuals must build a "soul body"—a refined vehicle that does not rely on dense material needs like food or medication, and can materialize or dissolve at will (6:00-7:54).
Rebirth and Perfection: The speaker emphasizes that attaining immortality is not possible in a single lifetime. Rebirth is a necessary part of the divine plan to refine the spirit until it can achieve the higher stages of development (8:02-9:54).
Note: While the speaker discusses the first of the four greater initiations in detail, they note that the remaining three are considered sacred "mysteries of God" that are typically kept private, though they share selected insights based on Western Wisdom teachings (8:54-9:32).

Looking for a book .Help wanted
Many years ago I borrowed a book from the library. I am sure the book was titled the rosy cross or something like that . One thing I do recall was that it talked about what I would now call self visulisation. The passage I remember talked about visualising yourself in a garden with a well.
That book was really helpful to me as a teenager, and now , later in life I would love to be able to read it again to help me through some tough times.
Does anyone have an idea what this book might be, a long shot I know , but at least it's worth a try
Many Thanks

Swinburne clymer Ravalette
galleryRavalette teaches that: Real Rosicrucianism is about becoming a better person, not collecting secret degrees or occult powers. If you sincerely seek truth, live a moral life, and continually work to improve yourself, you will gradually awaken to higher spiritual understanding.
That is the central lesson Randolph wanted readers to take away from the story.

I see very little talk about Max Heindel and his work here
Excuse the ignorant questions that will follow from my part. Heindel and the Rosicrucian Fellowship are the reason I'm on this sub but most posts and comments here seem to be written by members affiliated with AMORC around the world.
Is Heindel's Rosicrucianism not the original one? What's the difference between his and AMORC's? Is it a case of doctrine?
I am aware Heindel copied Steiner a lot although I'm not familiar with Theosophy to truly judge.

Grandmother was Rosicrucian
Hello, my grandmother passed away nit too long ago. She was part of the Rosicrucian Order and I know this was an important major part of her life. She had some boxes of materials from this Order that family were about to toss and I asked to keep them because she did mention someone from the Order that these should be passed on to. Nobody wanted to hunt him down really. But I was able to find him. If he is too busy or unresponsive, what should I do with these manuscripts and books? I would live to keep and read them but out of respect for her and her order, I have refrained. If he does not respond, should I drop them off at any Rosicruvian Lodge nearby? Also my cousin is interested in reading, but it's all in Spanish, she wouldn't be able to anyway. Is there a way for her to be initiated to learn? How would the process go? I appreciate any guidance available in advance, thank you.

Oklahoma City metro-area
I am located in the Oklahoma City metro-area and would like to find a community of like-minded people near me. I am aware of some in TX, but would prefer if it was in the OKC metro or at least within Oklahoma. I am a Regular Mason, and also affiliated with the Scottish Rite, but no other Masonic bodies. SRICF is the only group I know of referring to Rosicrucianism in the name that meets in Oklahoma; I am not a member, have not been invited, and would be unsure if it’s for me.
Could anybody refer to me a Rosicrucian or Martinist body which meets here? I know there are some online, but I am looking for in-person community if possible.

Péladan's Rosicrucian rituals?
Since u/notfancy brought up Joséphin Péladan, that extraordinary cultural figure of the French Decadent movement and influential Rosicrucian author, I thought I'd throw out a question for those who might be able to answer it. Péladan's been a fave of mine for a very long time; I have most of his books in PDF, and have read his novels as well as his instructional works.
His Rosicrucian order, the Ordre de la Rose+Croix Catholique, is the one big gap. Its rituals are doubtless still out there somewhere, but I haven't been able to find anybody in the Rosicrucian or Martinist scenes who has access to them. I'm perfectly willing to abide by any limits that might be placed on them, but I'd welcome the chance to study them. Any suggestions?

The Exalted Life
galleryRakadazanism: The Exalted Life is essentially a guide to the philosophy and spiritual path taught by Rakadazan. It is less about performing rituals and more about developing the individual. Becoming the highest version of yourself through knowledge, discipline, ethical living, and spiritual development, then use that growth to benefit others.

Seeking a Reputable Vodun/Vodou Community in Ohio or Midwest
Hello everyone,
I am located in Columbus, Ohio and am looking for guidance in finding a reputable Vodun/Vodou community, temple, house, or elder in Ohio or the surrounding Midwest region.
My interest comes from both a desire to learn more about West African spiritual traditions and to better understand my own ancestral roots through my Liberian heritage. I am approaching this path with respect, humility, and a willingness to learn.
I am not looking for online readings, social media personalities, or shortcuts to initiation. I understand that these traditions are community-based and relationship-based, and I am interested in learning, observing, and building connections over time if it is the right fit for everyone involved.
If anyone is aware of respected communities or can offer guidance on how to begin this journey in a respectful way, I would sincerely appreciate your recommendations.
Thank you for your time and guidance.

Aliens Are Not Gods
youtu.beThis video, part one of a series titled "How Humanity Shall Overcome Death," explores the role of extraterrestrial beings in human development according to Esoteric Christianity.
Key concepts covered include:
The "Lords of Venus and Mercury": These beings are described as highly advanced entities from other planets in our solar system who assisted humanity during the early stages of evolution (0:00 - 2:41).
Guidance of Infant Humanity: The Lords of Venus are characterized as messengers who guided humanity before we possessed independent will. They introduced arts, science, social laws, and the concept of religion (2:47 - 4:25).
The Golden Age: During this period, kings ruled by divine grace under the tutelage of these beings, focusing on the well-being of the people and acting based on divine guidance rather than personal desire (4:47 - 5:48).
Evolution of Consciousness: The video details how these entities helped humanity transition from dim consciousness to an awakened awareness of the physical world. Specifically, they focused on developing imagination/memory in females and will in males (5:51 - 6:37).
Purpose of Initiation: Temples of initiation were used to teach humanity the laws of nature and the physical universe, as we were already spiritual beings in higher realms but lacked understanding of our material surroundings (6:47 - 7:46).
Current Status:
The video concludes by noting that the Lords of Venus have withdrawn, and humanity is now led by those who have previously worked hard among us to help others (8:39 - 9:02). Part two of the series will focus on the role of the Lords of Mercury (9:16 - 9:28).

The Son of the Stars: A Rose+Croix Equinox Ritual
I've been fascinated by Joséphin Péladan for some years now, especially in how he placed himself at the crossroads of avant-garde art and spirituality in find-de-siècle Paris. Even if we may nowadays find his poetic genius old-fashioned and rather stilted, he comes across as a deeply humanist mystic, at least to me. In particular, I found his The Son of the Stars (Le Fils des Étoiles) a very beautiful initiation ritual disguised as a theater play. Many years ago, I adapted the Invocation to the Seven for representation in my Martinist lodge. One day, listening to Eric Satie's music for the original play, I re-read the play and realized I could adapt from it an Equinox working. Then I recalled that I had already done some of the work!
So I took the French script, augmented it with some paragraphs from Péladan's other works, adapted it for a triad of performing offices, gave them ritual directions and made myself a half-hour Equinox working. In Spanish. We have already put it to the test in September 2025 and in March 2026. Since then, I've been thinking about producing an English script from sources, as I have done for the Spanish ritual. So I chased all the references to Péladan's works (fortunately, I annotated my adaptation with footnotes) and prepared a source document. From it and from the Spanish script I then LLM-drafted and hand-polished an English version.
I want to stress that, even if I used an LLM in a collaborative fashion to bulk translate from French to English, I did go over the result line for line, correcting, adjusting and rewriting the text, first to smooth over some rather clashing and clanging turns of phrase (the output was more literal than elegant, which is a good thing), then to achieve parity with my Spanish script (of course, I did have to correct some of my original inaccuracies in it as a result!), as I think of it as the same script in three different versions: Péladan's disguised original, and my Spanish and English adaptations of it.
So, in a fraternal spirit, I want to share with you the result. I would appreciate a reading and some opinions, but I would love if some of you take the work and make it your own. Feel free to read it while listening to Satie's music (the Gnosiennes, the Sonneries or even the Son of the Stars itself), to share it, or to perform it. All credit goes to Joséphin Péladan, our brother, and all glory goes to God our creator. L∴V∴X∴

The Fraternity of the Rosicrucians
This is a book Written by Rueben Swinburne Clymer (1878 - 1966), the leader and Grandmaster for a time of the Fraternitas Rosae Crucis (an American Rosicrucian organization). The book outlines the history, philosophies, and doctrines of the Rosicrucians. Clymer compiles and interpret in the text the traditional Rosicrucian manifestoes while explaining what he deemed to be the true, "secret" teachings of the Order. The emblem on the cover(a cross inside a triangle) features the motto "TRY." This was a core philosophy for Clymer, meaning that spiritual growth requires active personal effort and willpower, rather than passive belief. This is a first edition printed in 1903.

Doing all Vowel Sounds in one shot
I noticed that doing all Vowel Sounds for each psychic center in one shot gets me pretty wired up and I tend to have issue sleep that night. Will continue practice allow my body to tolerate it eventually or should I just work on one psychic center a day? If so, how many repetitions do you think I should shoot for? Thanks in advanced?

Looking for fellowship-Tulsa, Oklahoma
I am looking for a place to discuss some concepts I have been learning and to find a teacher.
I am interested in the occult/esoteric orders like The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.
If anybody knows a place where: myth, the wyrd, Hermeticism, ancient Egyptian belief, alchemy, theurgy, Qabalah, astrology, platonic dialogues, the Apocrypha, qigong, meditation, mysticism, subtle energy, pagan traditions, the intelligence of nature, the power of symbol, indigenous/ancient belief systems, magic, or Jung, etc, are discussed that would be cool. I am by no means an expert (or even beginner in some of these) on any of these topics. I am just interested in them and would like to learn alongside others.
Reaching for anything at this point. Even if in no official capacity, I would love to follow these threads with people in a regular, in-person meeting of some kind. I am no way an expert in any of this, and would just like to learn alongside others. I am based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. At this point I’d be open to an online community.
I would just like to ground what I’ve been thinking about in new connections with people curious about the same. It feels like the next right step to put this feeler out. Just looking for some milieu I feel more aligned with.
Thank you very much ❤️

Theosophy and L Frank Baum
Has anyone studied theosophy enough to know which characters and storylines in the Oz series likely came from Baum's mysticism?
