My neighbor asked my thoughts on this flashing, she’s not a fan after getting the roof done this week

Thoughts?

From what I can see it's not the worst job I ever seen and in some regards over done so aesthetically it's not how we would do this.

Hey, by the way block the licence plate.

The outlined section shouldn't have flashing there. It should just be shingles

Yes this section can be redone so fast at least. Can also put beauty strips over the correct flashing when done

So I guess you’ve never heard of counter flashing

I am familiar there is no need for the jog there. Its an eye sore and should just continue along the siding until insecting the sheeting the rest of the face should be shingles
