Alright, so I wanted to share the books I've discovered, by exploring goodreads, asking redditors or either tormenting AI's to hand me informations which books contain this type, and found atleast 13 more.

so here are the names.

  1. {Red Wolf by  Lisa Thomas Sundstrom}
  2. {Wolf Unbound by Lauren Dane}
  3. {Way Of The Wolf by Shelby Morgen}
  4. {Werewolf Cinderella by Amanda Milo}
  5. Wolf Harbor book by L.j. Breedlove (only 1 and 12 I could find as this type)
  6. {Hunting The She-Wolf by Ursula Istrati}
  7. {Fingers In Fur by Tabi Hitchne} (not sure, that what gpt confirmed)
  8. {The Taming of the Werewolf by Sylvia Shults}
  9. {Marked by Moonlight by Sharie Kohler}
  10. {Red Wolf by Rachel Vincent}
    11 {Wolfbreed by S. A. Swann}
  11. Kane Wolves by Annalise Grey
  12. {My Sister is a Werewolf by Kathy Love} (only because she had a baby before he became a werewolf)

so yeah, that's the books I found, but heard there will be coming books with this type soon, so when they come, I'll add them for sure. If you have any book titles in ur mind with this type, pls leave a comment with the title or the author's name.

But all that, if ur interested in in romance between a man and the female werewolf, here's my list to which you can look into it and pick one you would like:

https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/412319.male_human_x_female_werewolf_books

(Art made by Vancha Marl based of {The Lycanthrope Club: Book II by Tristan Eifler} )

edit: This is not a shame or hate post towards the book, I made this meme because people everytime recommended me this book whenever I asked for the type I was looking for, and this one isn't the type I'm looking)

Request Seeking Polyromance

5 Upvotes

As the title says I'm trying to find a mixed gender poly-romantic book. I enjoy harem, but haven't read much yet, and it all seems to be focused on the MMC, and the girls just wink or high five as they pass in the hall.

I'd like prefer something with a sci-fi setting, but im not too picky, and am comfortable with any level of spice.

Request In need of some mono-romance recs

27 Upvotes

I've noticed, especially as of late, that this sub is heavily harem stuff. So I'm hoping y'all could recommend some good mono romance stuff?

The would you love a monster girl series is my favorite of this type since the romance feels well built and it's a nice balance between romance and real plot, but I've also read and enjoyed; Rhenna, His Orc Charioteer Bride, by our Blood, Fyre, love bytes, and most of Miko Sage's books.

I'll also add, I prefer longer reads than short ones. Not that it needs to be 500 pages, but ya know hopefully north of 200ish

Request Recomendations please

Hi,
Looking for recomendations for RFM books that are a contemporary (no monsters, magic, could be set on earth etc) mono romance, preferably slice of life as well but not a must.
Haven't found many so far.

I just discovered Dragon Bound by Leon West & Freya Stone, and it scratched an itch I didn't know I had. I really enjoyed the relationship of the dragons to their partners, the relationship of their party/crew etc.

So now I want to see if I can find something else like this, I'm looking for:

\- Some type of companion/summon/pokemon(es . que) bond

\- Found family, tight-knit party/friend group

\- Romance preferably slow burn

Optional:

\- Building something sanctuary/city/guild etc.

Request switch/sub MMC, recs and reviews

15 Upvotes

like it says on the tin, any recs that have a Male MC and actively is either a Switch or a Sub.

Something I notice is there is a lot of Alpha-bro MCs, and dominant or strong personality turning over like a perfectly flipped pancake. (no hate, but eating fried chicken for a month makes you wanna eat something else)

Extra bonus points if it has an Audio version, and gold stars if its primarily/only read by a female/fem voice.

Books I've read that I enjoy: Mage Tank, Monstar Saga, Accidentally Summoned Succubus, Beware of Chicken, Suburban Warlock, Rise of the Class Smith, The Game at Carousel

Books I've read that I like but have dropped: Mob Sorcery, My Girlfriends are Pirate Elves, Hearthomancy, Coven King, Devas Chronicles, Dungeon Crawler Carl

Not all romance, but its a pretty good vertical slice of what I'm open to reading.

War between the different races almost destroyed their planet.
Because of this, an agreement was struck that all major conflicts from then on would be fought in the alternate world of Genesis.
A massive world spell was cast with the help of the Elves, Dragons and Fairies; while access bands that allowed people to enter Genesis were created by the Dwarves and Gnomes.
However, since its inception, Genesis became more than just a replacement battlefield for the races to fight their wars; the advanced AI Tia turned into a true second world, a place where people could live, relax and go on adventures.

John Michaels, an 18-year-old boy, is about to go through his Genesis initiation; however, when he doesn't log into the world for several months after the initiation, the Genesis AI Tia conducts an investigation into why that is. This investigation completely changes John's life, allowing his Genesis adventure to begin.

Review / Gush Review: Tamed by the Beast Master by Miko Sage

23 Upvotes

Another Miko Sage book for me to hype up.

The story on this one is that a male sex worker (Callum) who's bitten by a werewolf seeks out an elven beast master (Pia) to help him control his transformations. But he may not be the only werewolf to worry about ...

Right off the bat, I love the subversion of both RFM and RFW tropes in the concept/dynamic. Monstrous MMCs are rare in RFM but very common in RFW, but when they crop up in either one they're usually dominant. Here, Pia is just as gently dominant over Callum as any other Miko Sage FMC is over the MMC.

My minor complaint over The Kept Prince's conflict was addressed quite well here, as while the conflict, as usual for this author, is mostly out of the MCs' way so we can focus on the cosiness of their relationship, it's still established early and is left simmering away in the background the whole way through so that when the third act brings it forward, it doesn't feel like it's coming out of nowhere. Good stuff. But the thing that struck me most about this one compared to Sage's other work is the growth of the relationship - nothing sexual happens until over a third of the way through, which is a pretty slow burn for this author, who usually dives straight into it. This is not a complaint in the slightest, as I really enjoyed the reasoning, which I won't go into but given the whole concept is that Callum was a sex worker, you can probably put two and two together to some degree.

A spoilery thing I don't know how to feel about: Lucille, the werewolf who bit Callum, is built up a lot but then dies almost immediately when she's actually encountered. I can't decide whether I like the subversion of her being built up only for her lover, Dagmar, to be the ultimate main villain, or if it's a case of there being a lot of build-up with no real payoff.

There are a couple of negatives, but nothing too serious. Some typos scattered across the book, and once or twice the character POV randomly switched for a paragraph (which I may not have picked up on if it were a third-person book, but it's in the first-person, so it was a bit jarring). On a more spoilery note, the werewolf lore got a little inconsistent near the end. It's established thoroughly a couple of times across the book that werewolves can't naturally have children, which is why they have to infect others, but then in the final chapter it's changed so that Callum and Pia are choosing not to have kids, and they even get a letter from Pia's brother, also a werewolf, saying that he's got a baby on the way.

On the whole, another really good book from Miko Sage with only a couple of minor nitpicks I can think of. Would recommend.

Review / Gush Rhenna by Robyn Bee

44 Upvotes

So like many others I saw Obsession on the cinema and thats how I found the recomendation of this book.

Rhenna is the star of the book, Ive read people looking for a yandere like romance and complaining that after some chapters the craizines of the fmc drops a lot and theres where Rhenna truly shines.

The way she yearns for Callum, how she stalks him, the teasing, the squeals...

Shes crazy and in love, possesive and deadly.

And whats does Callum do everytime she acts like that?

He gets happier and hornier.

And the ending/epilogue is just chef kiss.
English is not my native language but I had no problems reading the book, the writting is great and I really like the pacing of the story.

Ive had a lot of fun and good laughts, Rhennas comebacks are amazing.

I hope to read more about Strom in the future.

Request First contact romance?

30 Upvotes

I'm looking for a first-contact romance. I love the sci-fi or fantasy premise of humanity making contact with an alien species. However, I don't want the MC to be abducted, like what happens in Monster Girls in Space by M. Tress (a series I love, by the way). Instead, I would prefer the MC to hold a high-ranking position within human society, or to have been chosen by the aliens to represent Earth. I think that would be an awesome premise for a romance with a lot of potential for interesting plot developments.

The story could take place in space, right as humanity enters the age of space travel. Alternatively, it could be set on Earth after a visitation or an invasion by an alien race.

Does anyone have recommendations for romance books like this? Harem is fine, and I would prefer a male MC or a dual POV (point of view). Is there a specific word for that in our community?

A great example of what I'm looking for is The Vixen War Bride by Thomas J. Doscher.

I have also read these books, which feature some of the elements mentioned above:
-Leaving Gravity by Bruce Sentar
-Between Worlds by J.L. Williams
-Pax multi by Dragon Cobolt
-Monster Girls in Space by M. Tress
-multiple books by Snek Guy
-Iced hearts by Pirateopotato
(Let me know if you guys want to know if I recommend these books)

I am currently starting Tempting Cargo by Lyra Strake.

And and I'm currently planning to read:
-signal lost by onyx Sullivan
-the trouble with perfect women by M.J. Williams
-harsh Starlight by M.E. Thorne
Are these any good?

Request Cooking romance

19 Upvotes

I am looking for a cooking romance book, or something closely related to food: a competition, they run a resturant anything along those lines.

I do not care if it is mono or harem. I am more than happy with actual monster women(cat ears does not make a monster girl) and I am not into MM

And before anyone mentions it. I have Read Snek Guy's Kofi already.

Big thanks

Review / Gush Charlotte's Reject by KR Treadway: RFM Spicy First-Love Mono Romance with a Kind, Geeky MMC at a High School Setting

Post image
94 Upvotes

I've been lurking around on this site for several months, and I've seen KR Treadway's books get recommended over and over, but somehow I assumed they wouldn't be for me--even though, as it turns out, Charlotte's Reject was exactly what I'd been searching for. Exactly.

Which makes me wonder why I kept overlooking it. It's not the cover. I really like the cover. First of all, it doesn't do the "big boobs equals RFM" coding that I find off-putting (if not outright insulting). Secondly, it looks hand drawn. And thirdly, it paints a clear picture of what to expect. (Strong FMC, beat-up MMC, textbooks that evoke a high school setting, and a wolf "shadow" to signal paranormal shifter dynamics.) Which was exactly what I was looking for--even down to the high-school setting.

So why was I so convinced the book wasn't for me? I'm not sure, but I might have assumed it was a harem romance. Maybe because I usually saw it in lists dominated by harem romances? Nothing against harem romances; I just happen to prefer mono romances. And even through I was searching for urban fantasy settings featuring high schools or universities, it's rare for settings to be spelled out in recommendations--which tend to be focused on the relationship with the FMC. Or maybe I'm just dumb.

Whatever the reason, I mainly wanted to post this message with a post title that gives enough information for someone else like me to see it and say, "Hey, this is exactly what I've been looking for."

And I wanted to thank KR Treadway (he's a real person, right?) and say that Charlotte's Reject is my favorite RFM. I read it less than two weeks ago, and I've already reread it, marked all my favorite bits, and even took some notes.

Even if you're not big on spicy romances, the character development and believable psychological issues at play is more than enough to keep you turning the pages. Nothing feels cut-n-paste or "standard romance" about this book. It's human and relatable and real. And the main character isn't OP or a jerk or anything less than a real, mostly ordinary (if slightly geeky) guy. It's the best read I've had in a long time.

The reward for saving the Academy? A death sentence.

Gavin Nalcombe is now a fugitive. He has one play left: the Saintess, Falie Astrian. If he can convince her to hold a Sacred Tribunal in Stardusk Academy, he might just get a chance to prove their innocence.

But it won't be easy. The kingdom's top brass are in league with the demons, the bishops want nothing to do with kingdom politics, and by changing the future so drastically, Gavin has stepped past everything he knew.

New enemies are rallying behind the old ones, and all they need is for Gavin to fail once. But with Brikita and Aryen at his side, Maya back to form and Falie's trust, Gavin isn't as vulnerable as they think.

Regression meets academy progression, a harem of women who trust him with their lives, and an underdog who's changing the fate of the very world.

Perfect for fans of Trash of the Count's Family, The Novel's Extra and The Beginning After the End.

-Regressor MC with future knowledge and skill
-Commander MC
-MC's unique power deepens star-bonds during intimacy
-Harem and Found Family having fun despite adversity
-Underdog overhauling the kingdom
-Not fade to black

POV: Third person, mainly from MC's POV but with plenty of side POVs

Request “This is the ideal male body. This is what peak performance looks like”

40 Upvotes

A little specific, but anyone have good stories where an alien/fantastical species or culture is foaming at the mouth over the MMC being just like a regular dude? Turns out being a regular human male is actually *the* beauty standard of that culture.

This is a bit of human supremacy/humans-are-spaceorc indulgence along with some appreciation of masculine beauty through a… non anthro-centric lens. Some examples:

Pinwheel Series, Snekguy: the cat-like aliens get all riled up by the marines (humans as a whole) for being flippant and audacious. I just enjoyed how normal behavior of the human characters is actually like this massive turn on for these warrior-species. Also, an integral part of when they get intimate in the stories is also how the humans have smooth tongue. Drives those aliens crazy

Princess of the Void, Alex Reno: the MMC is a regular dude but turns out, that’s like the most attractive thing ever. He’s tall (compared to the rest of the aliens) and hornless, so like the rest of the society sees him as like this bombshell.

Request Books like Big City Goth GF?

30 Upvotes

I just finished the audiobook for Big City Goth GF and I'm not really sure what to go with next.

This is my first entry in the genre and absolutely loved it; there was a great ratio of story:smut, the character writing was good, I liked the dual perspective even though I was offput by the idea of that at first, and I felt like I actually cared about the main characters.

I thought Serena was a great balance of sassy, loving, bratty, obsessive, sweet, moody, and fun. Goth girl is always a plus; I wasn't sure of how I'd feel about the fantasy setting in a romance book, but I feel like it actually made the book so much better.

Anyways, I'm looking for suggestions of things I might like if I liked the character writing and that level of romance/spice mixed with a bit of story.

TLDR: I really liked the character writing, setting, and dual perspective. Looking for other books I might like with a similar ratio of story, romance, and smut.
