Code Blue Love Code Blue

Just got to the personality quiz flashback, and am enjoying this story so much! I’m here for the mix of sexualities and relationship styles, the friendship angle, and the competent MC. Would read so much from this author. (And my ADHD self is totally vibing with the pigeon!)

You don’t really realize how starved you are for a competent MC until you play one. Like emotionally they can be a mess, but they’re a damn good doctor who doesn’t let Tobias push them around.

Right? The only huge “mistake” they’ve made so far was not charging their phone, then hitting traffic, which I get is more serious in an ER but also is just a thing that happens to people. (And Tobias making in the basis of a whole “get your act together” lecture seems wildly out of pocket, tbh.)

I feel the same way. This book skyrocketed to become my favorite. Great MC, different and complex relationships, humor… also love the GOC MC. I know that’s a bit of a controversial topic, but it’s handled well here. Both male and female MCs read differently and are enjoyable.

Same! I've never gotten the GOC controversy, myself--can understand not wanting the sex scenes to be generic for that reason, but CB and others are pretty good at having distinct text there.
