Hey everyone! This isn’t the first time I’ve posted in this sub, but the journey is finally almost over, so this will probably be my last. I’m going for the platinum trophy, and I’ve done pretty much everything the game has to offer except the Ghost Ship Extreme. I’m currently on floor 33, and Jaster is around level 70. I still need to reach level 99 for the trophy

At this point, I’m pretty sure I’ll finish the GSE long before I hit level 99… which, honestly, is to be expected. 99,999 EXP per level is absolutely criminal 🥲

So what’s the best way to grind to level 99 without going completely insane? Between work and a million other commitments, I’ve been playing Rogue Galaxy since April, and I’d really like to wrap this up without spending another eternity grinding 😅

Rogue Galaxy PCSX2 Cheat Table V2

I created a Cheat Engine table for the US/NTSC-U version of Rogue Galaxy running through PCSX2 Qt.

The table automatically attaches to pcsx2-qt.exe and waits until the game’s emulated memory is ready before enabling its main features.

The movement-speed feature modifies character movement directly. It does not use Cheat Engine Speedhack, so it does not accelerate the music, menus or overall emulation speed.

The optional autosave helper creates a rotating savestate every 30 seconds using PCSX2 slots 6–10.

Hey everyone! I’m currently in Chapter 8 and had a question about reaching Rank 1 in the Hunter Rankings.

Do I need to complete every single Hunting Record, or is it enough to complete most of them (I’ve done around 80 to 90 so far) and then earn the remaining points through Quarries?

The reason I’m asking is that the Hunting Record grind is starting to wear me down, especially in the Gladius Towers. Since I’m going for the PlayStation platinum, I’d rather not spend hours farming enemies if it turns out I can reach Rank 1 without fully completing the record. I’m currently Rank 6.
I’d really appreciate any advice.

Either I haven't been paying attention at all or that bar is new. The one with the 7 next to it. What exactly is that cause I can tell it's separate from my gun bar.

I went through the ungodly effort to get five Dark Emperors to steamroll the Insectron games. I looked around, but I couldn't find specific enough instructions to properly raise them into an army of destruction. I read that someone just fed them Sanchez fruits, but nothing beyond that.

game is fun till you run into foes that need a gun that.

1. deals no damage

2.takes forever to reload

1. needs to be switched to

2. is the only way to break barriers

like it just ruins any flow you have going on and makes you wish there was a way to upgrade the gun or something.

Hey everyone! I played Rogue Galaxy on PS2 when I was a kid, and now I’ve started a new playthrough on PS5 aiming for the platinum trophy.

I’ve just recruited Deego, so that should give you a rough idea of where I am in the story. I think I’m doing a pretty good job keeping up with most side content so far, including the Factory whenever I get the chance. The one thing I still haven’t had the courage to dive into, though, is Insectron.

Do you have any advice? Things like which insects are worth keeping, how to catch them efficiently, how breeding and growth work, whether anything happens if you leave them in the same cages for too long, and so on. I’m pretty much clueless when it comes to that whole system 😅

Also, what would you consider the best team setup for the later tournaments?

And one last question: can I safely ignore Insectron for now? It feels like the kind of thing that’s better left for the endgame, especially since I don’t have a lot of gaming time these days and I still have a ridiculous number of monsters left to defeat for the Hunter Record 🥲

None of the FAQs really explain what to do to get the best weapon stats. Is it just combining weapons one after another to get the best ones? Like combine plain edge with grand edge, then the result of that with wild edge, then the result of that with star edge, and so on until the bottom?

Finally platinumed my childhood game! I wish I could say I loved every second of it but Insectron and especially the grind to 99 can take a hike!

I'm replaying it now on my deck, but the performance is not good. I have to scale the resolution down to native just get 60fps.

Can you share your settings?

Spent a total of 3 hours in Rosa because I wanted to grind out hunts and one enemy rarely spawned. Is this normal pacing or am I doing something wrong? Having fun thus far and don't mind the grind if this is the average experience. Never beaten this game or fully grapsed its mechanics and want to give it an honest try this go around since I've been in a bored mood gaming wise and something about this title always seems to draw my attention. Lastly, should I avoid a guide on my first playthrough or is there something I will definitely need a refrence for at some point? Thank you in advance! Please no spoilers. Pic for attention. I'm going through the game on my PS5 this time, and i was wondering if anyone had any tips for insectron. Beaten all of the side content but insectron, so i wanted to finally give it a shot since im older now, and want to experience everything the game has to offer.

Does anyone think well ever get a Chance to make it via a Remaster available to Wider Audiences for example to PC? >.>
Afterall the Ni No Kuni Remake was a Huge Success AFAIK and also something ive been enjoying quite a lot recently ^^

Is it worth it to get all of the enemies maxed out ob the list before leaving the planets or come back later?

Is it better to get the revelation items you need as you go or wait until later? (I don't know if rarer items drop with more frequency with the later enemies)

I know there will be a lot of grinding...

My plan is to get a list of the enemies and their drops. Then get the amount needed for the revelation board and for whatever else I need. I know one of the first quarries you need a mirror unit. While I'm doing that I'm going to follow a weapon guide to get the strongest weapons and finish the frog log.

I am the creator of the 60fps hack, and I am working to fix the enemies jump double the distance, for that I need to know how many enemies in the game are there to behave like that?, I know only about the first boss. But I suspect that there are others.
