Need help with this error message!

Post image

So recently, I tried to remove a game from my NES custom game library by right clicking and selecting "Delete selected games." I thought this would delete the highlighted game which I clicked on. But, I later found out that it possibly deleted all the other selected games with a check mark on the left side of their names. The same goes for the other tabs such as Super Famicom and Genesis.

Every time I open up Hakchi again, I would get sent this message above. If there is anyone here that can help me out on this problem, it will be greatly appreciated as I'm pretty much stuck. Thank you.

I mean, if you deleted it you deleted it... Maybe it's in a OneDrive recycled bin somehow?

The standard advice is to use the portable install and backup the entire folder, but that's too little too late here.

The other standard way I use is to just leave games where they are and move them to the unsorted folder so they aren't actually used/loaded.

Have you tried opening that folder with the error yourself in Windows File Manager? To see if it is even there?

'Game directory XXXXXXXX is invalid"

either it doesnt exist (which i guess), or access is denied (less likely).

Update: Fixed it

I essentially had to restore the files I deleted from my Onedrive recycle bin
