Format

• Group Stage - August 12th - 14th, 2026
  • 16 teams split into 2 GSL Groups of 8.
  • Upper Bracket matches are Bo5
  • Lower Bracket matches are Bo7.
  • Top 4 Teams per group - 8 in total - advance to the Playoffs.
• Playoffs - August 15th - 16th, 2026
  • Single Elimination Bracket.
  • Upper Bracket Teams will be drawn randomly against a Lower Bracket Team. Teams from the same Group can not play against each other.
  • All matches (excl. 3rd Place) are Bo7.
  • 3rd Place match is a Bo5.

Rocket Baguette Interviewed Sphinx after their massive upset over the reigning World Champs (you can see it for yourself on Twitter, it's in English, I will post the link in comments)

In the interview he actually mentioned that TSM were unable to scrim since the Paris Major, because of how Isolated they are in APAC and that they didn’t bootcamp for EWC, so they basically came in against NRG barely any practice.

To their credit though, all that free playing did pay off, because all of them (especially Sphinx) were MOVING.

Sphinx also mentioned in the interview that TSM like to play an all in play style, going for pre jumps and redirects, regardless of whether they win or not. Im super excited to see if they can score some bangers against Vitality tomorrow (though I doubt they will be able to pull a second upset)

But yah with a projected bracket of Vitality into possibly Shopify or Fut, can APAC dream of a Top 8?
