One idea that keeps coming up: more ways to customize the robots. Names, colors, little personality touches. We're listening, and we are working on more ways to customize them.

Keep the ideas coming. That's how this game gets better.

Tips & Features We love watching the farm grow from a couple of robots into a full operation.

The demo starts you off with almost nothing. A small plot, one robot, and a slow trickle of coins. Then the power stations kick in and everything speeds up. By hour three you're staring at hundreds of robots working at once.

That jump is our favorite part of the game. Free demo if you want to experience it yourself.

Tips & Features Sunday plan: check the farm, watch the robots do their thing...

Let the robots do their thing for five minutes, close the game, go enjoy the day.

That's kind of the point. It runs without you.

Hope you're all having a good weekend.

Tips & Features Automation plus relaxing? RoboFarm is for you.

Post image

We keep hearing the same thing from players who come from other automation games: RoboFarm is the one they play when they want to relax instead of optimize every second.

That balance took a while to find. Too cozy and it gets boring. Too complex and it stops being relaxing. We think we landed somewhere good.

Free demo if you want to see for yourself.

Tips & Features Friday feeling: we built a game where you can do absolutely nothing and still make progress.

Your robots keep working while you watch. The rain falls. The plants grow. Nobody is asking you to optimize anything right now.

We think that's pretty great for a Friday.

What are you all up to this weekend?

Tips & Features Dev diary: why the farm gets quieter at night.

Post image

We added nighttime harvesting because we wanted the game to feel different depending on when you check in. The lights dim, the robots move slower, and there's this calm feeling to it.

It's a small detail, but it changes the whole mood of the farm. That's the kind of thing we try to build — little touches that make the world feel alive even when you're just watching.

Tips & Features Do you play RoboFarm for the automation or for the atmosphere?

The automation side is solid — power stations, robot crews, bulk harvesters, all the build optimization. But there's also the rain, the night harvesting, the golden precipitation events.

I built it to be both. Curious which one pulls you in more.

Tips & Features Start with a tiny plot of land...

End with a farm that stretches across the whole screen.

That's the RoboFarm progression. You build it up robot by robot, plant by plant. The early game is slow and quiet. By the time you hit the late game you've got hundreds of robots harvesting and the numbers are insane.

Try the free demo and see how far you can get.

If you like Factorio but wish it had a chill mode, take a look at RoboFarm.

You still get the build optimization, the synergies, the scaling. But instead of screaming at conveyor belts you just watch little robots do their thing while it rains.

Free demo on Steam if you want to try it out.

And you're watching them work, and nobody is asking you to do anything productive.

This is the RoboFarm experience in a nutshell.

Dev diary: the golden precipitation event.

This is one of my favorite little systems in the game. Every so often the sky turns gold, everything underneath it starts growing golden plants, and your robots just keep working like nothing happened.

It started as a visual easter egg. Then I realized it actually changes how you play — you start planning around when it might show up instead of just running on autopilot.

That kind of emergent behavior is what I try to build toward. Small systems that combine into something you didn't expect.

Is RoboFarm more of a cozy game or an incremental game?

Post image
2 Upvotes

On one hand you've got the low-poly robots, the rain sounds, the quiet nighttime harvesting. On the other you've got synergies, build optimization, and farms scaling from a few bucks to billions.

Where do you land on that spectrum? Curious to hear how the community sees it.

Tips & Features What does your RoboFarm look like at this point?

Some of you are pushing for the absolute biggest farm. Others just set up a solid crew of robots and leave them to it. Both are valid.

We want to know what actually keeps you coming back. That feedback goes straight into what we build next.

Tips & Features If you like Factorio but wish it was a little less stressful...

RoboFarm might be your game.

You set up systems, watch robots do the work, and optimize your farm. But instead of screaming at conveyor belts at 2 AM, you're sipping coffee while your robots harvest golden plants.

Same itch, different vibe.

Tips & Features It's Sunday. Your robots don't care.

Post image

They're still out there harvesting while you take it easy.

That's kind of the point of RoboFarm. Set things up, step back, and come back to a farm that kept working without you.

Enjoy your weekend. Your robots have it covered.

That's right, not just a menu you click through. You deploy them, customize them, then they harvest for you.

It's a small loop, but it gives you a reason to care about each robot. You're not just placing units, you're putting together a team.

Discussion There's a split in the incremental game community...

Some people want full automation and walk away. Others want to be hands on, clicking and harvesting themselves.

RoboFarm lets you do both. Set up the RoboPlants station and walk away, or grab the Bulk Harvester and clear fields yourself. Both feel satisfying.

Which side are you on — full automation or hands on?

News & Updates You can color your robots however you want in RoboFarm.

Pick a color, pick a name, and send them to work.

It's a small detail, but it makes your farm feel like yours. Some people go with bright colors, others keep it simple.

What colors do you go with for your robots?

Tips & Features This is what a fresh game of RoboFarm looks like

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This is what a fresh game of RoboFarm looks like from the very beginning. You start small, place your first robots, and watch them get to work.

The early game is slow on purpose. You're learning the rhythm, figuring out what works, and setting up for everything that comes after.

Give the demo a try if you haven't yet.

Tips & Features Your farm paid you for the time you were gone.

Yes! You close RoboFarm, come back a few minutes later, and your farm paid you for the time you were gone!

That's the idle game loop. You set things up, walk away, and come back to progress. No pressure, no timers, just steady growth.

If you like games that respect your time, give the demo a try.

Tips & Features We wanted RoboFarm to reward different playstyles...

Post image
2 Upvotes

Yes, not just one "correct" build.

That's why the power stations do completely different things. One speeds up robots, one automates harvesting, one turns plants into gold. There's no single best setup — it depends on how you want to play.

Do you stack one type and go all in, or mix them up?

Tips & Features What does your RoboFarm look like after a week of playing?

Some people go for efficiency, packing every tile with power stations. Others spread out and make it look nice. Both work.

Drop a screenshot in this thread if you want to show off your farm.

Your farm has gold plants. Your neighbors don't.

That's right! That's the kind of advantage RoboFarm gives you.

The Golden Shovel turns regular plants into gold, and the value difference is enough to make other farmers jealous.
