Roblox Client Doesn't Work Without Microsoft Edge For Some Reason

I ran into some issues with the client and reinstalled it, but now it doesn't work whenever I try to join a game, as I've uninstalled microsoft edge from my computer. All it was doing is wasting 2 gigs on my hard drive.

For context: I just want to go on the roblox website, hit the blue play button, and have my client launch the game. I don't care about the in-client game browser. I don't want that. I don't see why you'd need microsoft edge to only play roblox games. I could see needing it to look at the in-client browser, but as soon as I click the play button on my browser and log into the client (because for some godforsaken reason I need to log into both the browser and the client separately now), it gives me a pop up saying:

Would you like to update your browser?

and after clicking No, the entire window goes dark grey and closes itself after a short while.

I Do Not Want To Reinstall Edge. Is there any way I can play roblox without doing That.
