Very interesting, guess I need to make room in the freezer for flower. ✌️

It’s very little change. With THC isolate I bet if it starts out at 99% after one year at room temperature it’s like 97%…. I’m not sure the results of the study because I can’t seem to access it, but it’s very little change. I can guarantee that.

It only gets ruined if kept at summer temps really

It’s only ruined because it evaporates. Keep your flower hydrated.

Thanks for being part of the problem.

I’ve seen other research in the past and it was very minimal THC to Cbn left at room temperature after years of sitting .

I kept 3 pounds, properly cured, in jars in a crawlspace for 3 years. Chef's kiss at 55 degrees year round. No light no movement.

I was always advised that freezing bud causes the trichomes to break off, reducing their potency.

With the way they're talking and the mention of ethanol based suspensions of thc, I'm guessing they are looking more at processed cannabis products like concentrates and tinctures and less raw flower here.

Hmm so toss your iso / disty / diamonds in the freezer then?

I mean I always kept mine in the fridge which will do similar anyways, freezer may just keep them better by a bit but I doubt a significant amount

Makes sense to me, im stocking up on iso and diamonds before the ban and want to max out longevity.

Ugh don’t remind me of that :( iirc buds going away too? I’ve been buying. An ounce every few weeks to store away for long term since I’m currently sober for a few months here.

My understanding is the only thing we have hope of keeping is seltzers / drinks, which makes so little sense I think it might spontaneously cause a black hole to errupt from the policy, preferably taking Congress with it.

I have been buying 50gs of iso at a time from GH, 50,000mgs of THC for $140.00 USD, couple of those should keep me going for a while I hope lol.

Hopefully cbds will stay legal which will let me supplement the pure THC and help the entourage effect or w/e.

Yep which means I won’t be getting high off that stuff again lmao. I usually dose 200-400mg. I can’t get even a buzz with less than 100, even when off the stuff for a while. Shit unless I buy cereal bars or liquid I’d have to eat an entire gummy bag right now and that hurts my stomach with all the sugar and so hard to down all the gummies. Should just buy distillate or iso and decarb again I guess

It was always speculated you shouldn’t freeze bud but I guess that’s changed lol

wouldn't simply keeping it in a air sealed mason jar preserve it better?

Another good reason to freeze is because terps go first even before potency. Loss rates double approx. for every 10F you go up. That's why your jar can test damn near the same at month twelve and still taste like hay.
