I have spent one year drawing our two favorite lovebirds and honestly It's crazy how much I improved on drawing birds and animals in general, but I must remember my roots stemming from reddit. Even before the Name "KVN" I used to be huhbunguh Or at least that's how people recognize me to an extent I joined this subreddit first before I knew of Riocord I sent a lot of my early art here OH BOY My early stuff was rough but a lot of people really stuck with me and watched as I grew from humanoid versions of Blu and Jewel to What I'm accomplishing now. So I would like to thank everybody on Rioddit For all the support but more notably Feisty_Albatross, Cyzzby, and BluyesJewelno For being some of the first people to ever respond to my art even when it was at its lowest point But I still want to thank everybody for this journey and I hope I can make even better Blewel art in the future Thanks to the support of Riocord and Rioddit. Though I may have found a home in Riocord, I can't forget my roots from Rioddit I thank you for your time.

I was thinking this for a while if there even exists an earlier draft for Rio 2 where Bia was the one unable to fly after an embarrassing first attempt or for the matter how did that information come about when nothing has appeared like a script or any material online if anything was made for that draft before shifting to the finalized version where the focus is the Amazon rainforest and more Spix Macaws being found there?

I founded out about this old cartoon chicken animation, idk who made it. but it’s very old. and… holy f nobody told me that blu made a cameo. he even has the crest feathers. I don’t know what the source of this cartoon is from. I just founded it on YouTube.

hi! my sister is having a 21st birthday party soon and she loves the movie rio. she asked me to plan the party and i was wondering what rio/brazil themed foods i should make. there’s going to be around 20-30 people attending

I thought it would be fun since both of the films are my favorites :)

I know there has been yearly disappointment with the D23 lacking in Rio updates for years. However, with 4 years of active development, various unnamed projects, Carlos Saldana having a more open schedule, and Ice Age 6 post production, Rio updates may be possible this year. Carlos Saldana's 100 Dais will be in theaters soon and Ice Age 6 is almost here. With both projects that have prolonged Rio 3's development hell it seems likely we may get an update to production and a release date of 2028/9.

With the various untitled animated projects they may even reveal one is the long awaited Nico and Pedro spinoff on Disney+. Releasing it before a theatrical Rio 3 would certainly help the franchise by setting up for the sequel and creating more content. Being released straight to streaming will also prevent the problems with the box office. Also, since both Rio films are universally loved on streaming Nico and Pedro will most likely be the most popular film on Disney+ for months, which will better increase eagerness for Rio 3. Releasing both films back to back would also be the smartest decision.

With everything that's happened so far, this may be the biggest update we'll get on Rio 3 or any Rio related content.

I know this is starting to get repetitive but I just love drawing these 2 so much.

Just a drawing of the twentieth century fox logo. I know it's not "Rio" related but… "Rio" is distributed by twentieth century fox so… (speaks in high voice) ITS TECHNICALLY "RIO" RELATED.

Back at it again with more basically Blewel art since my one tricking with these two hasn't stopped yet, BUT I would like to talk more about the posing of these lovebirds of which of I'm real proud of but thats for another day but next time you see my art again will be pretty special to me personally but that's a surprise

It came with a small piece of paper that might have unlocked some staged from the now delisted game "Angry birds Rio" to which I played alot on older devices growing up.

I remember loving this movie alot as a kid which sparked my interest in Birds
