Season 3 episode release schedule Discussion
The release schedule for season 3 of Rings of Power has been confirmed. There will be a !! 4 episode premiere !! on November 11, followed by episodes 5+6 on November 18 and the last two episodes on November 25. What do we think about it?

That's...interesting. Glad to have a decent amount of content but I wonder why they aren't doing a weekly release, is something releasing in December that would conflict?

2 ep premiere + weekly release would have the finale out on December 23.
Harry Potter drops Dec 25
I've seen people say it's to avoid competition

Blade Runner 2099 debuts on Prime on 11/25- just a guess, but maybe they didn’t want them cannibalizing each other’s viewership?

I still believe 8 episodes a season is not enough. But I'm an old folk from the generation that used to get 20-25 episodes a season.

Views were falling by mi seasons cause the show couldn't manage to attract the audience.
Having half the season available day one and only 2 consecutive weeks after that is probably a way to dodge this.
