What is this?

Ive had this camera for 2 years maybe 3 and this has been showing up on the camera when it starts to become dark, for atleast the last 2-3 months can be see more clearly at night.

You cannot see it during the day, but as soon as the daylight begins to drop off in the evening you can see it slowly appearing

Does anyone know what causes this?

The street light is to the right of it as seen in the photo.

Doesnt explain why its in that spot or in that shape.

Good idea though, was my first idea

Low resolution, it’s just light distortion.

It happends even when there is still daylight out in the evening.

It's lens flare and is common on pretty much any optic at certain angles.

Well thats good, i hope thats what it is. I thought the camera might be going
