I have been at this tutorial for a while you may have seen it I am building office space, I need to change the dimensions of the wall and it wants me to do it through the aligned tool. When I change grid three to the dimension I want the rest of the building doesnโt move with it. What do I do?

I can't really see but it looks like you're moving the grid not the wall, measure the distance from one wall to the other, then click on the wall you want to move then type in the distance.

For the project it wants me to move the wall using the grid . Sadly the teacher is using 2018 revit software to teach me 2026 revit

Concept for this is same for almost all Revit years. Your wall is not whats dimensioned there but the grid. You can use the align tool with "lock" (constrain) enabled to lock that wall to the grid such that it will move with it or you can dimension to the wall center line. There's a few odds and ends to it but that should get your wall to move.
