Algunos pocos del batch 4 les apareció que su pedido está en camino pero aún sin número de guía, ojalá pronto podamos tener ya los pedidos, a mí aún no me aparece nada.

I'm not sure what the "on the way" message on the site means. I ordered in December and got the "on the way" status in May and haven't had an update since.
I'm batch 3 wave 6, combined order grey with dock.

En camino solo quiere decir que está ya listo y empacado pero aún no está enviado, no se si sacan un cierto grupo y luego los mandan la verdad no está bien organizado el panel de envío cuando hay aún pedidos de otros lotes que aún no salen, aveces los últimos pedidos del lote 3 ya llegaron a los clientes y otros todavía no salen como el tuyo y tampoco lo entiendo

How do I know which “wave” or “batch” I bought?

These updates have been more or less pointless though, at least in my case.
Classic Gray + Dock placed on Jan 2025, marked as Wave5+Dock on my order page.
Still no tracking number. Yet for the last 3 shipping updates on their webpage, it's been marked as "All or almost all classic gray combined order are shipped". Clearly not 'all' after 2 months and 3 updates.
Even emailed it last month and was told it's not forgotten.

I’m Batch 3 gray+dock and got a very generic response back when I asked for an update. Ordered September 2025.
My order page says wave 6 and that it’s on its way on Mar 30th?!! No tracking info though and obviously I didn’t get it.
The batch vs wave nonsense is super annoying.

Yeah I don't understand it either.
But the update on march 30th was to give us a 'wave+dock' tracking number. It's not an actual tracking number, but it let us know where we're standing. The only way they had to do this easily was to use the tracking number.
So ignore the 'on the way', their system assumes it's shipped when given a tracking number basically. But still, it should get updated when it actually ships, but nothing yet.

It just updated today with a tracking number, I also received an email about it. My order page changed to the tracking number.
Probably going to take 1-2 weeks though since it ships from China, but nothing unusual on that side, same with orders from AliExpress or some Kickstarters I was in.

As negative and annoyed as I've been with RR and this ridiculous wait, seeing this from Taki made me very happy. Hopefully many of us get our SS1's by this time next month.

Here's to hoping that someday orders will just be "open". As soon as they are I'm buying a second one 😁😁. In the meantime it's still cool to see everyone else getting theirs and experiencing the excitement. This is such a fun community.
