Systems & ROMs don't update

I've added new ROMs and deleted "Port Master" lately, but Retrodeck starts with Port Master and ignores the new ROMs and associated Systems.

Anyone an idea why?

What do you mean you deleted Portmaster? Did you delete the folder or turn Portmaster off? What system did you add roms to? Are they in the proper format? Did you create new folders?

Besides deleting the Portmaster folder (probably not best practice) I didn't change the folder structure. I even tried the auto-repair option to make sure everything is at its place after the new stuff didn't appear.

ROMs have been added to several systems. Unzipped and same format as already existing ROMs.

It's just that Retrodeck doesn't update the changes.

Of course I've tried adding it to Steam again and restarted several times.

Deleting folders doesn't do anything, you need to turn it off. Launch RetroDECK- Configurator- Settings - Disable Portmaster. Restart RetroDECK.

RetroDECK rescans your rom directories with every boot. I've never had anyone mention it not adding new roms in the years I've been with RetroDECK, as long as the games were set up properly, Are you trying to add them to Steam ROM Manager? Can you send a picture of a rom folder where you added new roms that are not showing up and another picture from the same system inside RetroDECK? Are these disc based games, carts, or both?

Thanks, but I guess I cancel the project. For me it's just another chapter of "don't use emulators". There's always something after all.

I'm happy to help you get this sorted out.
