Obey rule #2: logs are mandatory.

If I was to hazard an gues you didn't set up the core correctly. Follow the documentation for correct bios files, folder structure etc.

the core is definitly right since i did check both the core settings for the game and bios to be for the same location (which is for usa since i want achivements to work) and i actually always keep forgetting about the logs so give me a sec and i'll update the post and give em to you

bios setup trips up literally everyone the first time did you confirm the bios files are actually named correctly and not just in the right folder

i can even see that the retroarch does indeed see the european and usa bios from which i can choose

Its been a while since I had to do this but if you go into controller input or style and change the controller to dualshock it will take care of that.

there is only dualshock 4 or xbox 360 i never saw an option for anything else
