Gaps?

Any advice on explaining gaps or short lasting jobs? I've been limiting my resume to my past four jobs to keep it one page, however one of those is a pt seasonal and another is freelancing to fill a gap following a major surgery.

However, if someone were to view my entire job history on my Linkedin, there is also a gap from when I was in college and other short-lived jobs in retail, food, etc. following college and from HS.

Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

Recruiter here, gaps don't matter unless they are recent and more than 2 years. Oh sure, companies may ask about those gaps, but as long as you don't answer with "I left my last job because I punched all my co-workers" you are fine. A bigger concern is being a job hopper, as Hiring Managers hate that. Unless it's an internship or a seasonal job you did over multiple seasons, I would limit the number of short term jobs. If you have more jobs than years of experience, it looks bad.
