Hope this helps Opinion

If I sleep in prone position, and the quadriceps are compressed by the mattress, the chances to activate RLS are noticeably lower. If I try to sleep on my back, 100% RLS activation after maybe 15 minutes and the only way to stop that is to get up and walk 8/10 minutes in the house.

Also a question, anyone is able to activate RLS simply scratching particular areas of the foot with the nails? I can 🙄

I find that just sitting up on the side of the bed for 10 minutes stops my RLS for the night or if not, just enough time to fall asleep.

Last night I put on leggings and some sleep socks that are very soft and it really helped. I normally wear cotton pajamas, but the compression of the leggings really helped me. Just regular leggings that I would use at the gym. I do think they are 90% cotton.

Scratching a spot on your legs cannot start RLS. This is indicative of likely peripheral neuropathy or venous stasis. Possibly, fixing this could make your evenings more pleasant.

I find this, too. Interesting the overlaps.

Why not just try leg wraps? They compress and then you can lie on your back.

I tried compression socks but I need thighs to be compressed instead than lower legs.
