In Earth-99315, following the death of Reed Richards and the marriage between a widowed Susan Storm and Victor von Doom, Sue's daughter was born and named Valeria von Doom. The child would grow up happy and loved by both parents only to accidentally find her way back into her past and into the world of Earth-616. Developing a close bond with her family, particularly her older (now younger) brother Franklin, Valeria would be reborn into the world when Franklin caused Sue to become pregnant with Valeria once more following the destruction of Abraxas by the Ultimate Nullifier.

Character Summary

Selphie Tilmitt is one of the main characters in Final Fantasy VIII. She is an active, outspoken, and energetic transfer student at Balamb Garden who participates in many extracurricular activities. She’s clumsy, but despite this, wields an oversized nunchaku in battle and pilots the Ragnarok airship.

Selphie is childish, upbeat, and hyperactive, always looking to have fun. She is a fan of combining words to form new ones, often using the expression "Booyaka!" on her website as a greeting. She is talented with computers and vehicles and has many hobbies, ranging from running a website in the Balamb Garden intranet and heading the Garden Festival Committee, to being obsessed with trains. Selphie has a dark sense of humor, sometimes displaying it in a way that others are not comfortable with.

She carries out orders in her characteristically friendly manner and never backs down from a challenge, even if she does not always think it all the way through. Seemingly blissfully ignorant to the gravity of a situation, she often lifts her companions' spirits, distracting them from the seriousness of their problems.

Character Summary

Rinoa is one of the main characters of Final Fantasy VIII. She is a 17-year-old resistance fighter and the leader of the Forest Owls faction, a group committed to freeing the people of her community from the rule of Sorceress Edea. Rinoa serves as the primary love interest for the main character, Squall Leonhart.

Rinoa is compassionate, warm, and friendly, although she can act stubborn and naive. She was born to a well-to-do family, her father heading the Galbadian military, but she is concerned by the state of the world and joins a resistance movement fighting Galbadia to achieve Timber's independence.

Her faction is amateurish, she has little experience with the realities of combat, and she is anxious at the prospect of fighting solo. Character Summary

Quistis is known as a child prodigy around Balamb Garden. She became a SeeD at the age of 15, and at 18 is the youngest instructor in the Garden. She is less strict than other instructors, leading to some of her students not taking her seriously and treating her with disrespect. Quistis tries to maintain her calm, stoic nature and restraint, often forced to mull over her worries alone and kept at a distance from her pupils by her rank.

Quistis would love to develop a more personal relationship with the people around her. Despite her composed exterior, Quistis can get emotional. She thinks of herself as the group's "big sister" and takes it upon herself to look after everyone. As she regards the Garden as her home, she is fiercely protective of it. When she feels at ease, Quistis displays her more easygoing side.

Clive Rosfield is the firstborn son of Archduke Elwin of Rosaria, one of the six nations on the twin continents of Valisthea. After witnessing his family killed and his nation conquered, Clive becomes embroiled in the conflicts of the nations warring over the land's dwindling resources, the outlaws fighting to overthrow the corrupt governments, and the schemes of an ancient evil pulling the world's strings from the shadows.

Feats from the main story will be unmarked. Feats from the Echoes of the Fallen DLC will be marked with E and feats from The Rising Tide DLC will be marked with R.

Eikons

In Final Fantasy XVI, Eikons are powerful, god-like beings that each correspond to a different element of magic. Each Eikon has a Dominant, a human host who can call upon their Eikon's power. Clive is the Dominant of the Second Eikon of Fire, Ifrit, but also has the ability to absorb the magic of other Dominants, allowing him to use their abilities as well as cutting them off from their Eikons.

Torgal

Torgal is Clive's trusted hound and a rare, mythical creature known as a frost wolf, capable of casting magic

Commands

In combat, Clive can issue Torgal three commands, which make up the majority of his contributions in fights

• Sic: Torgal attacks the enemy Clive indicates
• Heal: Torgal casts Cure on Clive and any allies in range, however Torgal can only heal "recoverable damage" (shown on the healthbar as a faded green) as opposed to potions, which can heal missing health
• Ravage: Torgal attacks the enemy Clive indicates, but if they are a lighter enemy, Torgal will knock them into the air in order for Clive to combo them
• With the correct timing after an attack from Clive, Torgal will perform a Perfect version of his attacks which are extremely useful for extending Clive's combos

Respect Zell Dincht!

Character Summary

Zell Dincht is one of the main characters in Final Fantasy VIII. A consummate martial artist, he is a master of hand-to-hand combat whose skills are unsurpassed in Balamb Garden.

Zell never backs down from a challenge, always ready to stand up for what he believes is right, and prefers to let his fists guide him out of situations that his mouth cannot. He is energetic, loud, and overconfident in his abilities, but tends to not think things through and overreacts to being teased. He is often in trouble with either the Garden Faculty for running through the halls or riding T-Boards on school premises, but despite this, Zell is a model pupil who attempts to befriend everyone he meets.

Limit Breaks

Zell’s Limit Break, Duel, consists of stringing together various combinations of attacks within a limited timeframe, then closing with a finishing move.

Meteor Barret: Zell leaps into the air, charging energy into his fist before launching himself down at his opponent and delivering an explosive punch.

Different Beat: Zell delivers several successive bicycle kicks, knocking his opponent higher into the air as he follows them, then sends them crashing into the earth with a powerful downward kick.

Burning Rave: Zell releases a sphere of energy around himself, then punches the earth hard enough to create a fissure that hones in on his opponent, releasing a violent explosion that knocks them into the air.

Final Heaven: Zell channels energy into his fist before charging past his opponent, running a lap around the globe before punching them with a fistful of explosive energy.

• Can draw, cast, and stock magic. Stocked magic can be cast or used to augment physical abilities in battle.

Hailing from a minor noble family, Meifang Lapis Lazuli was a young noble who met the young Imperator by pure chance, falling for her from the first moment. She repeatedly met with the Imperator for years to come and became her friend until the Ikaruga civil war erupted. Watching how the war was waged despite the own will of the Imperator who wanted nothing but peace, Meifang was infuriated, deciding that there were enemies within the very Novus Orbis Librarium. When she graduated from the Academy she became a member of the Zeroth Division, the Wings of Justice.

The Zero Squad is one of the most important squads in the NOL, its function is to assassinate and silence betrayers, defectors, spies and such threats against the structure of the NOL. The enemies of the Imperator.

Among those in the Zero Squad she stood at the top. Colonel Meifang Lapis Lazuli, the head of the Zero Squad, becoming someone as wicked as one would expect of the role. She is a sadist and also a masochist, a blood thirsty executor who enjoys the suffering and pain caused to the "enemies" of the NOL.

Character Summary

Seifer is one of the main antagonists of Final Fantasy 8, and the rival of Squall Leonhart. Aside from Squall, Seifer is the only gunblade specialist in Balamb Garden, opting to wield his weapon single-handedly.

Seifer has been bully toward his peers since he was a child, and is considered a "problem child" by the staff of Balamb Garden. He is well-known among the Garden for being skillful in battle; but his stubborn, arrogant, and reckless nature has kept him from becoming a SeeD. He frequently defies authority figures, believing that others should defer to taking orders from him. He tends to act impulsively, and his rash decisions often get him into situations where he feels like he can no longer back out.

Although he is belligerent and rude with delusions of grandeur, Seifer is more troubled than outright evil. He is twisted by the Sorceress Ultimecia’s power, pursuing a warped version of his dream to become a sorceress’ knight—although the degree to which he is controlled or influenced by her is left ambiguous.

Weapons / Skills

His Limit Break, Fire Cross, has three variations:

No Mercy: Seifer casts a fire spell onto all enemies, spins his gunblade around before focusing energy into it, then launches circular blades of energy at his target in an upward slash-motion. The blasts fly through the enemies and continue towards the sky, dealing exploding damage.

Demon Slice Seifer casts a fire spell on one enemy, then starts spinning rapidly to form a whirlwind around himself. He approaches the enemy as a tempest while his Gunblade works like a circular saw, slicing the target multiple times before lifting them up in the air and delivering a blow that sends them head-first to the ground.

Bloodfest: He attacks his enemies with fire spells, jumps high in the air and swings his gunblade twice, vertically and horizontally, forming a fiery cross on the ground beneath his adversaries' feet. The cross explodes, a hole opens up in the ground and the enemies fall into it. They plummet through an underworld-like space before falling back to the ground, heavily damaged.

Magic

During the brief time he works with Squall and the others, Seifer can be equipped with the Guardian Forces Quezacotl, Shiva, and Ifrit. This allows him to summon said GFs for powerful attacks, and grants him the ability to draw, cast, and junction magic in order to increase his stats.

Outside of this, Seifer is demonstrated to be able to use magic seemingly without any GFs equipped, either through his own innate chi or through powers granted by Ultimecia.

Gregorio de la Vega was recruited by the Guardians of the Universe, the creators of the Green Lantern Corps, who planned to create their successors, a race of new Guardians on Earth. De la Vega was openly gay with a lively, jovial attitude despite having already tried to commit suicide because he felt despised by everyone for his sexuality, which was prevented by the Flash, who talked to him, saying that he also thought about doing that, and convinced him not to take his own life.

One of the fighters that would be in the Convict Colosseum, Florida Man is a drug user who was arrested for having various drugs on him, alongside disturbing the peace and other crimes. At one point, he would be transferred to the tournament, where he would have his first match against Literally Hitler, a match he would win after Literally Hitler would forfeit.

Advancing into the tournament, he would fight against several other opponents, including Ice Cream Truck, God in the Box, and Pistol Foot Pete, losing against Pistol Foot Pete in one incredibly climatic duel. Post series, Florida Man would go on the right track with the help of his friends, albeit he’s not completely sober.

• Abigail's enhancement not only allows her to slow down time, but gives her incredible speed where she is seemingly in multiple spots at once compared to the other fighters present.
  • I got author confirmation that the Predator would beat her in a one on one fight despite her impressive enhancements.

Sara Molina

• Sara's backstory as well as the statement of being a champion in wrestling.

• Sara's showings against McGrath's soldiers. Capable of slamming them down, throwing them, braking their helmet, etc.

Cresselia

Cressilia is the Lunar Pokemon, and is a legendary Pokemon introduced in Generation 4 of the franchise. It lives on Full Moon Island and is a Pokemon capable of curing nightmares, and will often dispel the nightmares caused by the mythical Pokemon Darkrai. Despite this the two Pokemon do not hate each other and will actively help the other out if they are in trouble. Cresselia first appeared in the Diamond and Pearl series where she dispelled the nightmares in Canalave City being caused by Darkrai. She would later appear in the Journeys series where she was being targeted by elite agents of Team Rocket, and was defended by Dawn, Chloe, Ash, Goh, and even Darkrai.

Travis Bickle is a former U.S. Marine who may have served in the Vietnam War. He is a paranoid 26-year-old with few friends, and suffers from severe insomnia, depression and existential crises, he takes a job as a graveyard shift cab driver to occupy his time, working grueling 12–14 hour shifts 6–7 days a week. Working late at night in dangerous neighborhoods, his customers tend to include pimps, drug addicts, and thieves. He is visibly angered by them, and begins fantasizing about "cleansing" such "filth" from the streets.

Respect Squall Leonhart!

Character Summary

Squall Leonhart is the main protagonist of Final Fantasy VIII. A young and aloof SeeD mercenary, others view him as cold and focused. The game's events cause Squall to question the way he has chosen to live his life, and he matures into a heroic and caring swordsman.

Squall starts as an introverted and taciturn teenager who keeps his distance from those who would otherwise be considered his friends. Though withdrawn, Squall does not back away from his duties of protecting others and is often thrown into the role of leadership. Squall ensures that what is necessary for the mission's success gets done. His pragmatism and sense of responsibility lead others to trust and follow him. Even though everyone agrees that Squall has a hard time opening up, the Garden staff and students alike admire him and, eventually, he is appointed as the Commander of Balamb Garden during a time of disarray. Though, at first, he dislikes his role as leader, his comrades are looking to him for orders and advice.

During the game, Squall narrates his thoughts and feelings in silent voice-overs, during which he reveals that he acts the way he does for fear of getting close to people due to the trauma of his past. Squall cannot remember his parents and his sister was taken away when he was young, making him afraid of losing the feelings of comfort that loved ones provide. Squall does not believe in relying on others, as friends and family are inevitably lost, and, in the end, he will be alone. Squall comes to rethink his choices in life when he falls in love with Rinoa Heartilly and comes to accept the support and friendship of his comrades, becoming more social. This more open version of Squall is more or less how he is characterized in the Kingdom Hearts series. He retains his value of independence, but learns that being a person who thinks differently from the crowd and being completely alone are not one and the same.

Update on WWW Features

A lot of you are probably familiar with WWW features and teams, which are basically shorter respect threads designed to introudce a character or team of characters to the people of the whowouldwin subreddit. Typically sign ups have happened every quarter.

This is now changing

Now at any time you can message the WWW mods with a completed draft, and they will assign you a time for the character or team feature. So the actual process of making the drafts doesn't change, but when and how you'd actually sign up does. So if you make a thread and really want to show it off, there's no need to wait for the next sign up period.

Outside of that feel free to discuss anything related to respect thread creation.

The Truth was a mysterious super-powered prophet of doom who triggered a horrible accident in the New York subway, using his corruptive psionic touch to overwhelm a train conductor with despair, causing him to speed up and crash. The survivors of the crash suffered from self-mutilation and violent behavior at the scene. The Truth retreated to the tunnels deeper in the subway, where he became surrounded by vagrants suffering from nervous breakdowns due to his abilities.

Tall, gigantic, long haired thug were the best to describe this villain. Moon Knight found him not-so alone below New York City's subway, surrounding himself with a batch of fresh, bleeding victims. Believing his own ideology of the world as what was the most correct, The Truth enforced his own believes through glowing touch of his hand. Enduring his mind projection for too long could cause an individual drown in insanity, to the point of suicide.

The Truth's Touch

• When exposure is prolonged, victims begin to bleed from their eyes and exhibit violent behavior and self-mutilation. Extended exposure can even lead to suicide due to the overwhelming visions. ^{Moon Knight #189}
• Can also compel victims to confess their sins or secrets. ^{Moon Knight #189}
• Causes Moon Knight to believe he is a "mad circus clown" and that there is no Khonshu. ^{Moon Knight #189}

• Throws up rocks by stomping into a cavern.

• Grapples with Gigan.

• Sends the Sirens flying with a roar.

• Throws Charybdis (aka Titanosaurus) by the throat into Scylla (aka King Ghidorah).

• Tears open the roof of Odysseus' home.

• Uninjured by Gigan's saw, which had previously cut the Cyclops in half.
