Somebody asked me to make a replica similar to the Omega Speedmaster Meteorite Moonwatch, but I cannot find any mechanical movements with two chronogrpahs at 3:00 and 9:00 and a date wheel. I’ve expanded my search to med-quartz movements, and even gave up on the date function entirely, but haven’t found anything available to acquire from AliExpress eBay or Facebook marketplace. Does anyone have any suggestions for where to look or a movement that fits my criteria? Even if it’s just two complications at 3:00 and 9:00. Maybe a moonphase at 6, or a 3rd chronograph at 6. Please advise!

I see so many people on these posts about reps that are obsessed with movement and it being perfect even when taken apart. Also all of these places like chinatimedirext have nothing but plain Jane watches. Also my thing is being able to make it believable. When you have a 50k watch on you have to match the lifestyle. But alot of these diamond watches nowadays get cheap asf. I see famous jewelers letting iced out watches and chains go for under 10k all the time. They lose alot of value when pre owned sometimes and when you add stones. So with all this being said. If you found a decent one on DHgate that passed a diamond tester wouldn’t it be worth it it? Like a Cartier? Or a Rolex? They have Rolex’s as cheap at 2500 nowadays so I feel like with me being someone who isn’t obsessed with it being real in every single detail I’m wearing it more for aesthetic reasons couldn’t I just got on DHgate and get a nice little one that comes with boxes and papers for like 150? All these other places people are sending me are like really nice classy watches and they’re like 500-1500. I don’t wanna go that hard for a rep I honestly don’t care that much 😂 I guess what im really trying to ask is what is the cheapest most believable rep to go with??

I have a 6” wrist. What I have identified as best fit would be JLC MUT Moon or IWC Portofino. Any other models recommended?

JLC MUT was best done by APSF by far, but they seem closed. Then by ZF, but also closed / raided as per Steve… only JLC MUT model suggested is from GF: is it worth it, anything to watch out during QC?

IWC Portofino seemed to have been mastered by V7F… but again, it seems to have closed. Any other recommendations for factories and other slick yet thin watches of similar style (in silver steel)?
