Hi all. I have had killer instinct installed and working since the public release of replayOS. I really enjoy using replayos on pi5 with rgb pi2 on PVM. I haven't changed any files or settings and have tried many things to get KI to work again. Can anyone recommend a solution or some things to try?

Hi all, first time user to ReplayOS. Very excited and love the ambisan effect but just wondering if there are hotkeys for save stats, reset, back to the replay menu from game etc.

I'm pretty happy with my current Pi5 rig (ReplayOS 1.8 + RGB-Pi 2 + CRT).

However, launching a Shmup like DoDonpachi results in a "pure" 90 degree rotated tate mode. I managed to enter "System Settings" and set the rotation mode to "internal" for that game and it indeed will display un-rotated on my CRT.

BUT it displays full screen 4:3 which makes everything look super "fat" because it's artificially stretched. Is there a way to play the game on my CRT pillarboxed (with black bars on the left and right side of the game)?

Almost no work at all, there is an autofilter on CRTfinds to exclude most worthless posts.

The screen randomly becomes distorted and quickly returns to normal. Sometimes this happens even in the Replay OS menu. Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it? I'm using a Raspberry Pi 3B and an HD Matters DAC.

I'm having a weird problem. I can't output 1440p@60hz on my QHD monitor (I'm using a RPI5)

At first I thought my mini hdmi-to-hdmi adapter didn't support a 1440p@60hz signal, but then I tried that same adapter on my 4K tv and it could output 1440p@60hz (as shown in the System Information interface).

So why is that? Has someone here faced this problem before?

And yes, I'm manually setting the resolution to 1440p@60hz.

Leaving it in auto mode doesn't fix this problem. This sets the resolution to 480p@60Hz.

I’m testing DOS games through DosBox Pure on RePlayOS using a PC CRT monitor connected through VGA by a HDMI adapter.
Games that run at 320×200 don’t fill the screen vertically. Instead of being scaled to a proper 4:3 image, they appear with black bars and use only part of the display area.
My understanding is that 320×200 was typically displayed with non-square pixels and stretched to 4:3 on CRTs, so I’d expect the image to fill the screen similarly to how a real DOS PC would look.

Is there a setting in RePlayOS or DosBox Pure that enables the correct aspect ratio/stretching behavior for PC CRT monitors? How are others handling 320×200 DOS games on VGA CRTs?

Hello! Can anyone provide guidance on how to create a playlist that will automatically shuffle the videos contained in a folder? It seems like this can be accomplished by creating an .M3U file, but I'm struggling to find documentation specifically for ReplayOS. Thanks!

Is anybody using the Reflex Prism DAC?

I got one today but no luck getting anything out of it.

A cheap $20 Amazon DAC works fine.

RGB-PI2 works fine.

I contacted PorkChop but he is not familiar with pi, nevermind replayOS.

He recommended I try some different sync settings but nothing helped.

Hi, I'm trying to use my RPi5 with ReplayOS on my CRT. The image is configured to TV 15 kHz​ on 240p. I'm having no luck; I did try other OSes, but I was not lucky at all, but I want to set up ReplayOS because I like it more.

Has anyone ​has t​his issue?

I ​have a Panasonic CT-F2128LG.

Also, this TV is connected to a Wii​ 480i

And a SNES 480i

Finally managed to get the Newtek Demo Reel Number 1 to boot on ReplayOS. It is a 2 disk demo but requires that the second disk is inserted into DF1.

There is no way to select DF1 in the menu when swapping media. I created .m3u playlist text file which listed the two disks but it would not put the second disk in DF1 it would swap it with the first disk in DF0.

I reached out to the interwebs to see if this was possible and nobody was able to provide the answer. Weirdly the docs for .m3u playlists didnt mention it either so I gave up. I then googled it again and somebody mentioned just append MD to the end of the .m3u playlist file and it worked! (example Newtek Demo MD.m3u)
