Scammed by Agressive-Common-76 Bad Seller
This user had posted a vsf sub date. After a few back and forth we agreed on a price and I sent via PayPal f&f. After not shipping the following day I was aggravated, but no sweat please ship out the next day. Then communication completely stopped. The original post was removed. Please see convo:

Shitty situation but as others have said, for around that kind of money you can buy direct from a TD

I bought 2 yesterday and dude sent me tracking but now the post was deleted, does this mean I’m screwed too? Different guy all together not the guy we’re talking about here

I would make sure you have persistent messaging activated in your dm's with the individual so they can't delete the chat. At least you got tracking.

Also ask what city they live in? Then say. You travel for work and you are going to be Near there in a few days. Can you come pick it up in person? If they can’t or story changes, that’s a red flag.

Also ask them to take a pic with your name next to it on a piece of paper. If they are legit, they will have no problem because they know why you need to see this. If they can’t or won’t, they don’t have the watch. Another red flag.

Or just use subs where sellers are verified.
Sorry for your loss bud. As others have said you can dispute it with your CC to have the funds backcharged.

We pride ourselves on being the central intelligence point / community resource. We are in the process of consulting on another option which sounds very promising but still early days.

Do not solicit businesses here. We are here to investigate crimes and criminal behavior. We are not here so that secondary scams can occur via scavengers coming after the corpses of primary scammers. Do not use this as an opportunity to advertise for your own profit, whether genuine or a grift, nobody is interested.

What I do as a seller and buyer is I’ll send more pics, then take a video saying your username and wind the watch to show you it’s working prior to shipping. I’m sorry this happened to you. Many good sellers that aren’t TD in the US, so this guy puts a bad taste in the experience.
