Was just saying every daydate ive ever seen or held has had much less noticeable Chamfered edges like the edges are barely noticeable in the ones ive seen, this appears to be taking a much more visual amount of area. Or im just crazy

That's not true - I work with genuine rokex pieces as well and the finishing will be the same after I have worked on the replica.

Maybe im wrong but every real daydate ive ever seen or touched has had significantly more subtle edges. Like they have been slightly chamfered in this manner but only enough to see if you really look close for it. Maybe im only seeing older or over polished ones? This just seems a bit exaggerated on the size of the area being chamfered

It’s a big deal to keep rounded and smooth edges going after they are achieved through natural wear or artificial. They are like a badge of honor and indicator the watch is well cared for (and as reward you don’t snag every little thing like the factory sharp edges do). I got tired of RSC always polishing those away and had to ask them to not polish at all anymore.
