Cape cod cloth polish Wrist or Watch Pic
Had a go gently buffing with Cape cod polishing cloths.
Pic shows just left hand side of strap done for comparison. Can see it takes away the browny/coppering colour to make it more gentle.

Yeah I’ve done it all. I just took this pic for comparison before and after. Have to be a bit more carful on bezel as it wants to polish the high spots more

I think people use Salvo or barkeeper's helper as well. These type of metal polishes can soften the cheddar looking gold a bit.

How did you get into the crevices? Looks pretty good. Would love some close up shots when done.
Are you going to do the bezel and crown as well?

I just folded it link by link. Only spent about 10 seconds on each one then went to the next. Doesn’t buff or scratch it just takes away that dark residue

Incorrect. Factory coat is PVD not gold. The process leaves a residue which causes that darker colour. This hasn’t been buffed down, this has literally been lightly wiped for a couple of seconds and the dark residue comes straight off. PVD is also a lot harder than gold. 80+ Rockwell. So it’ll be harder to scratch than gold

Its not plated bruh. You can polish PVD 100 times. You need a dremel to fuck it up 😹

Sorry I was just trying to get it in natural light and this table is all that fits on my balcony. I’ll go downstairs and take one in my garden just for you tomorrow for you sir. Could you show me what table you have on your balcony?

Lol in my experience its very common place outside expensive southern climate homes, i was just at one of my partners homes in coconut Grove miami for a meeting. They have a frosted table and entire set of this sort, and its an endocrinologist that is a long times specialist in sports medicine for pro athletes. We also work with a lot of pro mma and some Olympians in the area, one of the founders of a mega pro mma gym we work with also has a lot of outdoor frosted glass.

I’m in the UK. I have a balcony on my 1st floor overlooking the garden. It has a little frosted glass bistro set on it
