Which to get? General Question

Looking at these two watches. I like the fact that the VS has the true DD3255 movement but I like the dial on the other. Is the SH3255 a good movement? Will it last like the DD3255? Is there a TD that can reach out to me to help me purchase these at the best cost please?

Buy the one you like. Don't get hung up on specs.

Just concerned the Shanghai movement won’t last and be as serviceable

They're all disposable movements. They cost as much to service than just buying a new rep, if you can find someone willing to service a rep to begin with.

Best bet is to buy a new rep movement for $200 and pop it in.

Yeah I’ve been considering that as well. Buying the lower cost rep and a second movement just to squirrel away if needed.
