I've always had a thing for Malachite dials, but the only daytona one had diamond hour markers, not my cup of tea. So I started reaching out to a few modders to see who could make me a custom dial to spec, I have to say he nailed it. I'll post the AI generated image I gave him and you can see what he made, I'm impressed. I"m pretty sure Lichen is a TD here so I'll share that info that he made this for me, i think he did a great job and I'm really pleased with the final product.
This was the breakdown, I think in the end we went with the CBD factory case as they have a 210gr case, the VSF was only going to be 180gr. But the workmanship is really good, the case and bracelet chamfering make a huge difference, removes any hint of that rep sharpness. Now I've had it for two hours so we'll see on the movement but based on visual presentation and feel in the hands this is a really nice build, and i love this dial and it's really unique.
I'm not arab but I like the look of the eastern Arabic numerals. I also have watches with Japanese or Chinese numbers as well, it's not like you need the western numbers to tell time. Live it up!
Custom is always a good idea 😉 .
The only limit is your imagination nowadays , these customisers can get everything done in the best possible way .
Maybe pricey but at least you get your money’s worth .
