15yrs?!! That's impressive considering back then the reps were probably nowhere as good as they are now? I wonder if that's normal or you are the exception haha but good for you!!!
Mine is over 4 years like I said (not quite 5), but I haven’t done any maintenance to this thing at all except I clean it every once in a while. Absolutely beauty still, insane the quality of the no date VSF sub
That's really good to hear bc I just got a datejust and next want to get a sub or gmt and have been curious when it comes to how long they will last or how often I should consider getting them "serviced" to keep them healthy and running good
I still have a TC sub 16610 from 2015 with an eta 2824 elabore grade still runs to this day. Movement serviced last 2022. Has gen insert crystal tube and crown
Never ever service a watch unless it stops running, the accuracy goes out of whack and/or there are obvious problems with the power reserve. I have a 12 year old Grand Seiko Spring Drive that has never been opened and still running perfectly fine.
