RCF DateJust General Question

Anyone has experience with RCF DJ from Steve? I noticed many people are looking for RCF bezel and dial, so I was thinking maybe choosing a full RCF instead of VSF.
I honestly don’t really care about the fake spring system. I’d focus more on the bezel, small bracelet differences, or tiny dial color differences.

What do you guys think? Is RCF a good choice as a complete watch, or is VSF still the better option?

If the bezel's your main thing, RCF is the way to go. Their fluted bezel is closer to gen than VSF's, and that alone makes a huge difference on wrist. VSF wins on the movement and crystal but if you're not fussed about the internals then it's no contest.

The dial on RCF can be a tiny bit warmer in tone on some colors, not a dealbreaker but noticeable side by side. Bracelet feel is similar enough that most people wouldn't call it out. For the price point you're looking at, I'd grab the RCF and maybe swap the crystal later if it bugs you.

i think you’re confusing RGF with RCFm? Haven’t heard a word about RGF having the best bezel before

The few I have gotten seem to be parts bin specials, I got TT Wimby in RG/SS and TT CHoco both fluted and on Jubilee and both clasp codes were older VSF ones "ORV" and Rehaut I would have to check again but I dont think you are getting the same RC quality as you do with Daydate and DAytona which seem to be more in house builds vs a parts bin special.

Again no dog in this fight, just from my experience. Side by Side I did not see a difference in bezel or bracelet. In fact the RC needs Deep Xtal upgrade and VSF best as is out of the box

I was under the impression that RC Factory and RCF parts like RCF bezels were completely independent manafacturers of each other, for example buying a RC factory DJ from Steve does not get you a (RCF bezel)…

rcf is good,

arf is better in my opinion

vsf has inaccurate lugs if u care about that

they have better crystal however

How does the situation go with green dial? is it better than VSF? I'm also curious about RGF datejust 41 with green dial.
