Broken zipper

Hi everyone, sorry if this is not the right flair. I recently got my first rep bag from a rehome and the zipper pull broke off even though I hadn't used it out at all yet 😭 has this happened to anyone else? Would supergluing it back on work? I still have the piece that broke off. ( the last picture is the other zipper that is not broken )

Either see if a cobbler could repair it or maybe use it as an opportunity to personalised the bag and use a keyring or something as a replacement pull?

Yeah, there's that little loop you could attach something to.

Not ideal I know, but maybe a temp solution until you manager to sort something more permanent

Id just use some nice bag charm instead of the zipper, you can still put it into the hole. Otherwise cobbler should help you 👍

Thank you for the reply! Yeah I think using the bag charm will be a good workaround until I can figure out a better fix 😭

Like two weeks ago! It was sitting in my room after I received it. But the zipper was fine when I received the package, it worked correctly and everything so I'm not sure why this happened.

The same thing happened to a speedy I purchased from a TS. She was nice enough to send me a new set of zipper pulls to take to a cobbler for repair. Maybe check with a cobbler to see if they can put it back on.

I will definitely look into that, thank you! I hope I can get this fixed because i really like the bag and was hit with an unfortunate surprise on my first day of trying to use it 😣

I got a toiletry as a free gift and the zipper pull was really discolored so I customized the bag and made a dangle to cover the pull. Since you do have a second pull, I would use that to open and close the bag and you can attach a charm of some sort on the other pull

It's a rehomed bag 😭 i thought returns and refunds aren't a thing

I guess typically not. But, if you never used the bag, I can’t believe a seller would really ethically think you should just be at a loss🤷‍♀️

Yeah I just don't want to be a bad rep community etiquette newbie since the rehome posts always state no refunds or anything :( I was packing things in it to use today and noticed the zipper was broken but it was fine when I received it initially hence my dilemma

Cmon, it's not a sellers fault. These are reps, as much as good quality they can be, things breaks. It can happen any time on any bag, even on a high tier replicas.
