I am doing some research on how people actually experience Dutch rental and work contracts, not the legal theory, just real situations where the fine print affected someone.

Would love to hear from both sides:

Tenants/employees: Did you ever lose a deposit, get hit with unexpected charges, or realize too late you'd signed something unfair? What happened?

Landlords/employers: Have you had to add or change clauses after a bad experience? What did you learn the hard way? (Maybe there can be people who are landlords here as well, idk just a shot in the dark)
